Ezra Levant and Mark Steyn testify on Monday

Mr. Levant is encouraging people, on his blog, to attend the committee hearings tomorrow regarding the Human Rights Commission. He will be testifying at 3:30 and Mr. Steyn will begin his testimony at 4. Mr. Levant says that you can also view it on-line here.

Unfortunately the Chief Commissar of the HRC wont be there to see it (from Mr. Levant's website):

I am advised by a friend in the Justice Department that Jennifer Lynch, the chief commissar of the CHRC, was scheduled to appear on Monday, too, but when she heard that Steyn and I were appearing that day, she insisted that she be permitted to testify another day. If this were high school, I'd merely laugh at Lynch for her childishness. Given that Lynch is an adult, in a position of authority in the government, her behaviour is worse than pitiful or disgraceful -- it's long past time she were relieved of her duties.

Interesting as to why a CEO/Chief Commissioner would refuse to appear along with Levant and Steyn.

There is something so rotten at their (CHRC) core that only a public inquiry will drag it out under sworn testimony.

7 neo-nazis including 1 in DND? DND allows this? NOT in my decades of service. Perhaps they forgot the lessons of Somalia?

Imagine that, moral cowardice exhibited from an agency premised on moral cowardice - that adult Canadians might be offended by free speech and should be protected from it by subjectively administered unaccountable statist authority.

And the tail continues to wag the dog while the dog allows it.
