Children singing about Obama
During the election in the United States I signed up for GOP e-mail list. Yesterday I received an e-mail (I didn't bother to look at it until today) that showed children singing songs about Obama at a teacher's behest.
This is what the e-mail said about this video:
In the video, impressionable youngsters at a public school in New Jersey, most of whom are no more than six or seven years old, have been instructed to sing the praises of "Barack Hussein Obama." One song is even set to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic.
Friend, this is the type of propaganda you would see in Stalin's Russia or Kim Jong Il's North Korea. I never thought the day would come when I'd see it here in America.
This is the type of fanaticism Republicans are up against as we fight to stop the Obama Democrats' radical leftist transformation of America. The only way our Party can defeat their liberal ambitions is by electing more Republicans in the upcoming 2009 state elections and the critical 2010 mid-term elections.
I can see the Republicans' complaint about the first song. It is actively promoting a policy agenda and no ethical teacher should be manipulating children this way.
The second song is a slightly different matter. It seems to be primarily celebrating that a black man can now become President. Though then again I don't remember ever singing about Jean Chretien when I was that age, I can see why this might be viewed as creepy.

That teacher stands by it too.
Couple that with the NEA conference call. Actually turning a bureaucracy into part of the Democrat Party is worse than the ACORN thing. I think that is why the leftist media has ignored the NEA.

I remember Western Canada Liberals getting school kids to sing something about Trudeau being great prior to his giving a speech on a barnstorming swing out west in the sixties.
It didn't go over very well.

The video of the kids singing is tame compared to this one. it looks like the formation stages of the Leibstandarte Barak Obama.
I wonder which one is Zebulon Punk?

Obama is not a radical leftist. In fact, most of the policies enacted under the Bush administrations have been left almost untouched. He's no less willing to talk tough when it comes to Iran's stonewalling on its nuclear power plants, approved the use of lethal force to rescue the crew of a vessel hijacked by pirates, and made it abundantly clear to the financial institutions that they had best learn their lesson well, because he won't be bailing them out a second time.
I agree the classroom is no place for politics, and teachers that attempt to take advantage of their captive audiences to push their own agendas should be disciplined smartly.

You recently said you could tell my posts by the third line, Greenthumb. Well, anyone on this board can tell yours after the first couple of words. The petulance, the defiance, the hostility, the raised middle finger are all evident before you hit the period for the first time. So what does that make you?

Canada, or at least Ontario, needs an Obama - that is a non-white elected to high office. Such a move would give non-whites hope that they can have a better future. Unfortunately, for those exact same reasons, whites will resist allowing any such move. They need the cheap labor. Giving non-whites the idea that they can rise will make them unhappy and restless. Such change is, however, inevitable. So whites better get used to the idea of seeing non-whites as equals.

The way that Detroit, Oakland, Washington DC, Atlanta, etc, etc. etc needed one.

Through lots of "affirmative action" programs. The blacks (most of whom are recent immigrants)in this country came here on their own accord. If they don't like they can leave. They can do all the social engineering they want in Jamaica.

Yes Stig, I want Toronto to become more like Detroit. It's most of the way there as it is. No sense stopping the inevitable. So, Toronto's next mayor should be black, and most (if not all) of its city council should be either black or from another visible minority. That way, the chickens can come home to roost and you white people can start paying for your bigotry. We shall overcome.

Pike- So, you actually believe a black mayor would lead to the downfall of Toronto? Sounds like you have very little respect for black leaders.

Da Punk's ideal form of government is Zimbabwe. Steal as much as you can from whitey, then when anybody complains yell racism.

Zeb, are you a paralyzed black victim, or a guilty white social liberal?
instead of pushing for affirmative action (which breeds contempt for "minorities"; y'know: vagina, skin colour, wheelchair hiring), why not push for business deregulation to make it easier for you to become self employed or to get a job in a burgeoning business environment?
...or do you jus' want respeck?

I care nothing for Toronto one way or the other. Seeing it in misery is, however, especially pleasing. It is a place built on hypocrisy - they claim to be tolerant yet racism abounds; they say there is no poverty yet millions struggle to survive. They say how progressive they are, but blame others for their shortcomings.
Electing a black mayor - or a non-white one if you prefer - would expose those contradictions. Whites would never accept that no matter how intelligent, skilled and pliant to white interests s/he could be. They would flee to the suburbs, eradicating the tax base and leaving the core an empty hub. Crime would run rampant. Poverty would reach pandemic proportions. And not a single white person would lift a finger to help. It would please me to see what would happen. A once arrogant city ruined by its own people. Oh, let it be so.

i'm in the Alberta trades. i work with lots of black guys. they make the right choices without a sense of victimhood.
don't like T.O.? a man follows the markets and moves.
don't want to move? stay where you are and wallow in your persecution complex.
personally, i wouldn't live there either. too many pc social liberal hypocrites (ironic, eh?).

come to Alberta, Zeb. i want to see everyone succeed.
Posted by: shel | 2009-09-27 1:46:08 PM
Shel: I lived in Alberta for much of my life, so I understand what you're saying. Africans would be much better off in Alberta because the economy needs them. This is not to say problems do not exist - Brooks' meatpacking companies use Somali labor these days and tensions between them and the population have been tense. However, compared to fascist Toronto which segregates black kids from others, it would be a step up. I implore Albertans to avoid the example of Toronto and become more progressive.
The problem is that most of Toronto's black population cannot escape the cycle of poverty that the whites put them through. Until it ends, they're stuck. It is a tragedy.

Bullshit. It was the blacks that wanted a blacks only school. It wasn't forced on them by whites. You're typical. Yell racism and play the victim card so you can get something for nothing. Until you people start taking responsibility for your own actions nobody will take you seriously.

Another bunch that like playing the victim card. So Da Punk can play the black and Albertan victim cards. No wonder he's so fucked up.

Anyone who lives outside of southern Ontario is a victim of White Toronto. Their bigotry knows few bounds - not skin color, religion, etc mean nothing to them. They get the best of everything handed to them on a plate. No others need consider themselves equals. Hence the 1970 Invasion of Quebec, the Internment of various minorities in the world wars, and the National Energy Program. Until Toronto is brought to heel and forced to live like the rest of us, there will be no justice. Better yet, the entire greater toronto area should be burned to the ground and salt poured into its remains like Carthage.

I shouldn't have allowed any of these racist posts to remain. But unfortunately I was too busy to police these comments. It is getting rather annoying
So I'm closing the comment section on this post.
