Union Rules

The most hateful words in the English language:  Teachers' Union
For years, top Manhattan public schools have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars from parents to independently hire assistants to help teachers with reading, writing, tying shoelaces or supervising recess. But after a complaint by the city’s powerful teachers union, the Bloomberg administration has ordered an end to the makeshift practice. But such employees can command nearly double the pay of the independently hired assistants, and several schools on the Upper East Side either have told current employees they will probably not have jobs in the fall or have put off hiring new employees.
That has incensed many parents, who see the aides less as a perk than as a necessity to cope with growing class sizes in well-regarded schools like the Lower Lab School for gifted children, where the average class size is now 28, and Public School 290, where broom closets are used as offices and the cafeteria doubles as a gym.
 [...]
The current teaching assistants generally earn $12 to $15 an hour, compared with as much as $23 an hour, plus benefits, for the unionized paraprofessionals. Even if schools were willing to pay the higher salaries, they could not keep their assistants because of a citywide hiring freeze.

Hah! These girls are amateurs compared to the harridans at the BCTF. They actually mob people in their cars, wear black armbands in classroom to mourn the "death of their contract," stage illegal walkouts, refuse to administer mandated tests, and send political propaganda from the union home with their students.

They should take every tenth teacher, strip them naked, and birch them until the blood flows. And then, right after the blood flows, birch them some more.

"They should take every tenth teacher, strip them naked, and birch them until the blood flows. And then, right after the blood flows, birch them some more," panted Shane Matthews as he waited with bated breath and his penis in his hand. Why was the damn porn taking so damn long to download.

And you wonder why no one takes you seriously.

I wasn't aware you spoke for everyone. Must have missed the memo. Maybe it got lost between the fanporn of you slapping your tongue over your mother's vulva and the latest installment of your ongoing dissertation: "An Educated Fool is Still a Fool."

P.S. Care to defend the teachers' actions, or are you just here for trolling purposes? Cum laude boy?

Shane- Sounds like you've gone soft. I'd flog every 2nd teacher.

I'm of two minds, dp. Most of them are perfectly nice (if a little scatterbrained) in person. It's when they get together in groups that they get ballsy. It's like the more people you get together, the less any of them uses their brain. Go figure.

@Shane "I wasn't aware you spoke for everyone. Must have missed the memo. Maybe it got lost between the fanporn of you slapping your tongue over your mother's vulva and the latest installment of your ongoing dissertation: "An Educated Fool is Still a Fool.""

Actually I'm talking for myself.

@Shane" Cum laude boy?
Is this suppose to be an insult? You have to do better than that.

@Shane"Maybe it got lost between the fanporn of you slapping your tongue over your mother's vulva and the latest installment of your ongoing dissertation:"

How original.

@Shane"P.S. Care to defend the teachers' actions, or are you just here for trolling purposes? Cum laude boy?

There is no purpose debating a SPOROGAN like you.

"Actually I'm talking for myself."

But: "And you wonder why no one takes you seriously."

Actually, Doug, to judge from some of the fan posts you've gotten, it sounds like you're the one with the credibility crisis. How long did you think it would be before people noticed your trolling?

"Is this suppose to be an insult? You have to do better than that."

Well, no, I don't. Given the degree to which your writing lags below what could justifiably be expected from a person with the education and experience you so love to flaunt for all to see, it skewers you quite neatly. It has been fun watching you writhe.

"How original."

Better than your garden-variety whack job. Not even a mention of jism-juice dribbling down the jowls. Even porn requires a modicum of evocative imagery in order to be effective. Do try to remember that, crotch spelunker.

"There is no purpose debating a SPOROGAN like you."

So what are you doing here? You cruising me, cum laude boy?

Posted by: Shane Matthews | 2009-07-30 6:59:07 PM

@shane"Actually, Doug, to judge from some of the fan posts you've gotten, it sounds like you're the one with the credibility crisis. How long did you think it would be before people noticed your trolling?"

Your words not mine.

@Shane"Well, no, I don't. Given the degree to which your writing lags below what could justifiably be expected from a person with the education and experience you so love to flaunt for all to see, it skewers you quite neatly. It has been fun watching you writhe."

You're the one flaunting my education, not me.

@Shane"It has been fun watching you writhe."

You actually saw me writhe? Please take the cameras out of my home.

@Shane"Better than your garden-variety whack job"

I have to agree with you shane, it's an extra-special whack job.

@Shane"So what are you doing here? You cruising me, cum laude boy?

Finally figured it out. I will point out every stupid thing you say. I admit it is childish, but you don't even have the stones to admit that you are being childish. As for who looks like the idiot, people can decide for themselves. However, I use your own words, you put words in my mouth.

"Your words not mine."

Cop-out.

"You're the one flaunting my education, not me."

I'm not flaunting it; I'm dissing it. You were the one who first flaunted it an an attempt to gain some quick credibility. I have never mentioned mine, until someone else mentioned theirs first.

"You actually saw me writhe? Please take the cameras out of my home."

Okay, fine. Just leave the one in the toilet bowl.

"I have to agree with you shane, it's an extra-special whack job."

Now who has cameras in whose house?

"Finally figured it out. I will point out every stupid thing you say. I admit it is childish, but you don't even have the stones to admit that you are being childish."

You've been childish from the first, Doug, and even you have admitted your vindictive streak. Also, you've proven remarkably inept at proving anything, so why should anyone take your word that what I say is stupid? Your sleazy little hate-a-thon is already turning heads, and only your reputation will suffer if you continue.

Posted by: Shane Matthews | 2009-07-30 8:07:48 PM

@Shane"Okay, fine. Just leave the one in the toilet bowl."

Your admitting you have cameras in my house. A law-and-order type like you should realize that's illegal.

@Shane"You've been childish from the first, Doug, and even you have admitted your vindictive streak."

You're the one who said "all drug users should be shot" and "teachers should be flogged unil they bleed."

Teacher's Unions are among the most dangerous as we have entrusted them with the minds of our children. That, and they get their marching orders from a state who's mandate is the general dumbing down of future taxpayers. God forbid kids should learn critical thinking and learn to question socilist dogma.
Private schools and home schooling have become the only real options for a decent education, as opposed to an indoctrination.

@ The original JC"Private schools and home schooling have become the only real options for a decent education, as opposed to an indoctrination."

My feelings exactly, JC. The problem is not too many people take the time to look at all sides of an issue. For example, there is my favourite Bugaboo.

"Your admitting you have cameras in my house. A law-and-order type like you should realize that's illegal."

And you're admitting you're an idiot; you should have realized from the first that this was intended as a gag. You're a rather humourless chap, though, so perhaps I was wrong to try it.

"You're the one who said "all drug users should be shot" and "teachers should be flogged unil they bleed."

Birched, not flogged. And in retrospect, I've decided that hanging drug users would be both more economical and more environmentally conscious. Double irony points for using a hemp rope. Note, also, that I advocate punishing people for actual crimes, whereas you turn into a spiteful and mendacious little troll for no better reason than that I didn't fellate you the moment you reeled off your supposed credentials.
