The subcommittee meeting they don't want you to hear

Liberal, NDP, and Bloc members of the Parliamentary Subcommittee on Private Member's Business have been trying to prevent parliament from voting on Bill C-391, a bill to abolish the federal long-gun registry. We put together a series of YouTube videos of the Subcommittee meeting from Monday, June 15:

Part 1: No procedural hurdles for Bill C-391:

Part 2: Opposition MPs realize they are in a public meeting:

Part 3: MP Scott Reid begins to filibuster:

Associate Editor Jesse Kline covered the story here and here. The Western Standard will continue to follow this story as it develops.

In-camera meetings are supposed to be a tool for governments or courts to protect sensitive information, not as a dodge for shady politicians who don't want their constituents to see what they're doing.

I wonder who they work for? Certainly not Canadians.

Themselves, ultimately, JC.

Is it normal procedure?
Why do the Honorable members find it normal to be in-camera for "matters of this nature". Which nature is that? Bill c-391 is in question.

The whole gun registry was brought in on a lie, the actual costs hidden from parliament, and a whole flock of Lieberal supporters made (and probably still are making) a whack of money on this farce. Why should it be any surprise that they want to keep as much of their deceitful actions as possible hidden from the general public? Who knows, maybe even the Urban Toronto voter might see them for what they really are.. Nah..Lieberal Blinders were probably invented in gullible voter Toronto..
