Roadkill Radio on the road tonight

I’m motoring solo this week on www.roadkillradio.com, as my regular co-driver, Kari Simpson, has escaped for the week—down to the United States, she says, to help the Americans take back their country!

Anyway, we’ll engage Roadkill's engine at 7:30 p.m. Pacific tonight by talking with John Carpay, executive director of the Canadian Constitution Foundation, which is supporting Quebec parents who are challenging the constitutionality of a mandatory religious education course which must be taught in all Quebec elementary and secondary schools. "The right of parents to educate their own children is fundamental in a free society," says Carpay.

We'll then talk with Matthew Johnston, publisher of this very blog and of the Western Standard, about fetal rights—an issue that has, of late, generated huge reader response on The Shotgun. The issue arose following news of a successful heart operation on an unborn child.

We’ll continue exploring the issue with Stephanie Gray of the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform, which is responsible for provocative displays advancing the notion that abortion is akin to genocide. Coincidentally, all the above guests hail from Calgary.

Finally, we’ll wrap up the show by talking with political analyst Mike Geoghegan of Victoria about the Seinfeldian B.C. provincial election which was unfolding while we were on the air last week.

All this, and the RoadkillRadio Warrior of the Week too! Drive over to www.roadkillradio.com to listen live from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Pacific tonight, or visit the archive (garage?) later to test drive one of the shows.
