Jewish student beaten during 'Israeli Apartheid Week' event
Every year events are held at several Universities with the purpose of discrediting Israel. These events have often been accused of antisemtism and yesterday the truth of these accusations were demonstrated dramatically. Jewish students stood up to comment on what was being presented in "Israeli Apartheid Week." According to one eye witness, after asking if Israel has the right to exist;
This was done in front of a large crowd and thus far no legal action has been taken.
UPDATE: The security guards were hired by "Students Against Israeli Apartheid." They wore bulletproof vests and assaulted a Jewish student. You may draw your own conclusions.

Not at all surprising...when my son was here from the west, I told him about what happens here if you carry around a book that the islamics don't like...(Irshad Manji, the trouble with islam, He didn't believe me until he carried one on the subway...and was accosted by a seemingly moderate man with wife and child....and told that he should not carry it, did he know what it meant????? Afterward, I explained to him that if it had been me...I could have been spit at, pushed etc...
when I carried a book they don't like a couple of weeks ago...(Brigitte Gabbriel's on my way back from a doctor apt...several students were very aggressive toward me although none of them pushed me or verbalized anything the way the man did to my son...
This city is filled with lunatic fanatics...
Carry around one of the books they ban...or don't like because it criticizes Islam...or basically the reality of what is happening...you'll see what I mean.

Bullet-resistent vests, Hugh. Most body armour will not stop a centrefire rifle bullet. I agree that, like the French authorities, eastern campus administrations seem reluctant to tackle the issue of anti-Israel violence simply because of the large number of Middle Eastern students there. I know from experience that teachers consider it more expedient to let a few suffer rather than have to stand up to many.

It's time for a major pushback against the Islamists. How about a Koran burning party? If anyone made trouble for me because I had a book they didn't like, I'd start a war. On the spot. In the end, it may well take a war for us to retain our western democratic values.

This account is absolutely BS!! There were 200 people in the room who sat quietly while the individuals claiming to be victims in this account spoke, disrupted and laughed at the speakers for two hours without anyone reacting. Outside of the room was the JDL, which assaulted a female IAW organizer and that is why the police were on hand. Near the end of the event ushers asked these people to quiet down at which point they started yelling and claiming assault. This is truly laughable!!

David, I've heard the story now from several people who I know and trust. People that I would never consider liers nor would they have a reason to lie to me. And they all confirm the basic story.
Even if other people were assaulted outside the room. It does not justify what was done to this man. Unless you think the actions of one member of a group makes the whole group guilty?
Also what the hell is a IAW?

AT referring to a IAW employee confused me because I thought that IAW was a week of events put on by the SAIA and not an organization onto itself. So the woman who was supposedly assaulted would be an employee of SAIA and not IAW. But hey I could be wrong about that.
Yes Pike it is very unusual for private security personal to wear bullet 'resistent'(there you go Shane)vests.

Macleans magazine issued their report on National Crime Rankings for 2009 today. Lets see where the most dangerous cities are:
1.SASKATOON
2.WINNIPEG
3.REGINA
4.PRINCE GEORGE, B.C
5.EDMONTON
6.CHILLIWACK, B.C.
7.HALIFAX
8.VANCOUVER
9.SURREY, B.C.
10.VICTORIA, B.C.
All the cities are in the west except Halifax. Toronto ranks below Calgary. In fact if you removed the Jane-Finch area for the Toronto stats, (Jane-Finch for those of you who don't know are where the Punk's brotha's and sista's primarily live) Toronto would be the safest city in Canada and North America. So Punk go fuck yourself.

There's a surefire way to end gun violence in Toronto. Shoot white people. Only when the white majority feels that they are at risk will there be any effective change. Until then, Mayor Mitler will sidestep the problem by issuing petitions to get someone else to deal with it. Of course, if whites were scared, they'd start a race war. It appears that there's an acceptable level of non-white gun violence to prevent the whole place from exploding. What a pathetic shame Toronto has become.

Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Regina, Chilliwack, all have large aboriginal populations.
Prince George, Vancouver, Surrey, have large south asian populations.
Halifax has a large African-American population.
Edmonton is just a shitty place, but also has a huge immigrant population.
What's up with Victoria? I've never been there, why is there so much crime?

Edmonton is a shitty place. The roads there suck too. I think they use them for artillery practice.
Calgary has low crime, or didn't make that list, because it's impossible to get from point A to Point B without some 3km detour because of bustraps and moronic dead end roads.

The first time I read Mein Kampf was in a library in a Jewish Community Center. It wasn't hidden, or restricted at all. It was at the Jewish Public Library in Montreal by the way. I suggest that "anti multiculture" spend a bit more time in libraries given his/her spelling and grammar.

Another good example of the need for major immigration reform. The government deports a gangster then undeports him. First we need to get rid of those Tamils, then get rid of the Jamaicans. Crime in Toronto would drop to near zero.
