More big brother in the land of Locke
I really don't try to find this stuff, but everytime I go to a British newspaper's website, something pops up. Now the state wants to watch its citizens from the air using the drones used in Afganistan to watch the Taliban. Again, the war in distant lands comes home.

Man if I could design and market a hoodie that not only covers your face but looks cool....maybe with a "F**k Socialism" Logo on it, and market it in England I could do pretty well. I hear the hoodie is now Englands best selling garment...and little wonder eh?

Labour is SO dead in the next election. But it will take years, if not decades, to completely de-Blairify England.

Maybe the U.S. should start smuggling Stinger missiles into England. I normally don't advocate such extreme tactics in a liberal democracy, but Britain is rapidly becoming neither. It looks like they've just had their Pierre Elliot Trudeau.

Maybe they should organize a "mass mooning," like that scene from Braveheart. The English are at their core a sensible people; I think that eventually this nonsense will stop once their leaders realize how ridiculous they look. Governments can survive wars and revolutions, but not universal ridicule. Once people stop taking them seriously, they lose all power.

Wow! This is fantastic! It fits nicely into my thesis that politicians are the modern-day priests. They want to know everyone else's business, all the time.
Nothing is safe from the prying eyes of God. And now, politicians want to be the all-seeing, all-knowing God of myth and legend.
