Riding the "O" Wave

I heard about a new Chrysler logo from a friend, but was only able to find one reference on this blog. The image below is taken from the same. The blogger says he saw this billboard somewhere near New Hampshire.

Is Chrysler joining Pepsi on the advertising O-train? Curious what ya'll think -- will this kind of marketing help, hurt or not really affect companies? Will Obama fatigue eventually kick in?

I'd hardly call that an O and it's not like Obama's team invented the use of a round logo. It's not a BAD logo, especially considering with a depression American Made will make a come back.

I hardly think the inclusion of the colours red, white, and blue--very patriotic colours for Americans--indicates the riding of any "O wave." Poor Obama. The stupidities he gets blamed for.

Wnen Harley Davidson started its massive ad campaign, with the American Eagle as its logo, it gave people the impression that Harley owned that image. Every time someone uses an eagle anywhere on their ads, they're accused of ripping off Harley's copyright. We all know the eagle has been used countless times on logos, but the connection to Harley persists.
