Obama to visit Canada
The Office of the Prime Minister announced Saturday that Barack Obama's first foreign visit as President will be to Canada shortly after his inauguration.

JC, why so cynical? Becoming president requires all sorts of unusual skills. Like megalomania, lying, stealing, dillusion etc. Not everyone can have all of these at once you know.

ahh- the days when Mulroney and Regan would sing songs together after signing multi billion dollar trade deals, and their first ladies would lunch with poor people.. even the Bushes were real pals..
anyways, lets welcome the O man with all the Mounties we can muster-
How about a fly by with some fighter jets ?

It will be good to see him, as it was for every US president. He should be greeted warmly. Of course the spoiled rotten privileged interests of Ontario won't - they're never EVER happy with anything, least of all a non-white in a position of authority.

Only rich white Anglo-Saxon protestants with deep multi-generation pedigrees and who tow the line are accepted in Ontario. No others even need consider themselves human. That's the Toronto way. Obama, a biracial man from outside of Ontario, will never be truly accepted in fascist Ontario.
Oh yeah - it's been on decade since Ontario disgraced itself forever when its idiot mayor called in the army to shovel snow. And some of you defend him. You people are as pathetic, lazy and weak as he is. For shame. I don't see why Alberta should secede anymore - it's Ontario that is the problem. Expel them.
