Todd Bentley speaks!

Canadian evangelist Todd Bentley once told an audience a few years ago that even before he became a born-again Christian he had the gift of gab—that he was “always good at speaking”. He put on a display last week, trying to explain away the collapse of his world-famous revival this past summer and his affair with a former intern. Those who understand Mr. Bentley’s history and theology, however, will likely find his explanations wanting.

Mr. Bentley fielded questions from Paul Steven Ghiringhelli, a writer for Charisma magazine. The reporter wanted some comments on a statement issued by the governing board of Fresh Fire Ministries, Mr. Bentley’s ministry, criticizing his affair as “adultery” and condemning his planned divorce from his wife Shonnah. Mr. Ghiringhelli deserves praise for getting Mr. Bentley to comment to the press for the first time in months, but his editors, posting the story on their website. were definitely trying to downplay Mr. Bentley’s remarks by implying that they were only reporting on the FFM statement (“Leaders of Todd Bentley’s Ministry Break Silence”) and by dropping his quotes to the second half of the story.

If we parse what Mr. Bentley has to say, it’s pretty scary. I’ll reproduce it here, and then offer what I hope is some useful background.

The relevant section of the article runs as follows:

On Tuesday, Bentley said there had been no sexual immorality between him and the former nanny. He claimed that for two years no “spark or interest” in the former staff member existed, and that the two developed only an emotional relationship several weeks after July 1, when Bentley filed for divorce.

He admitted, however, that the budding relationship was “absolutely” bad timing.

“I would call it an inappropriate relationship, in the sense that it was too soon, too quick, and should’ve never happened the way that it happened,” Bentley said. “Emotionally, she had stepped in to comfort me as a friend would.

“But I never left my wife to be with another woman,” he said. “There was nothing premeditated or inappropriate in my heart. I had never even entertained the idea that I liked this girl. It never went there.”

Claiming to have gone through years of counseling with his wife, Bentley said he is divorcing her over “irreconcilable differences.”

He denied disconnecting from his children and told Charisma he is in constant phone contact with them and plans to see them as soon as he sorts out issues with his visa.

Bentley said FFM let him review the letter before they made it public and that he was unhappy with portions of it. He said he felt the letter implied that the breakup of his marriage could be blamed on his relationship with his former nanny and the pressures of leading daily nonstop revival meetings in Lakeland.

“I have the utmost respect for my team in Canada and we have had a lot of years together,” he said. “[But] I’m not in agreement with my board on this. The point is, [the former nanny] wasn’t the cause. And I don’t want to blame Lakeland. I want to blame a bad marriage.”

Bentley said he is willing to take 100 percent responsibility for his actions and that he readily admits he’s guilty of doing a lot of things wrong over the years. “In a lot of ways, the ministry has been my mistress,” he said. “That did destroy my marriage. That I have to take responsibility for.”

….Bentley said he is still involved at an emotional level with his former nanny and soon plans to move to Joyner’s headquarters in Fort Mill, S.C., to “fully embrace a healing and restoration process.”

To begin, not only the board, but also Mr. Bentley’s friend, Ignited Church pastor Stephen Strader has said that the Mr. Bentley’s affair is apparently sexual. Before Mr. Bentley spoke to Charisma, he spoke to Strader. Pastor Strader, based on what Bentley told him, told his local paper that he agreed with the FFM board that what Bentley was doing was basically adultery.

People who have been following the evangelist will recall that three years ago he pulled himself off the road on the grounds that he had suffered a breakdown due to nervous exhaustion. He went into this in a full sermon-length message, which he sent to his contributors, describing his “dark night of the soul”. Left unmentioned in his message, however, was this was directly after a sexual affair with another staffer than the one we are mentioning now. Mr. Bentley was no doubt coming off the road in an attempt to save his marriage.

This has been remarked on twice. Once by Stephen Strader, immediately after Bentley left the revival, in the local newspaper.

Perhaps Pastor Strader was a source of information for C. Peter Wagner, a charismatic leader in the United States who wants Mr. Bentley to become one of his disciples. Mr. Wagner noted in a report on the revival in August that this first affair, during Mr, Bentley’s emotional “breakdown”, was sexual: “Their marriage has been torn for years by his emotional attachment with at least one other female whose physical contact went beyond hugging and kissing and holding hands. Enough said-maybe more details will be revealed later-but it was clearly immoral. All of this was skillfully concealed by lying and by swearing close associates who had observed his behavior to secrecy.”

It’s interesting that Bentley says that there was no “spark or interest” on his part for the intern. Really? Did he put safeguards in place, as many do, to ensure that nothing could come up that could threaten his marriage? If not, why not?

(One hopes that the lady in question does not take offense at the implication that Mr. Bentley was basically seduced, It takes two to tango.)

He couldn’t talk to the intern and another lady friend of his at the same time, so that they could both comfort him in a purely sisterly way ? (Someone who had fallen into an affair in the past would particularly want to be careful here.)

As I have noted, there is nothing preventing Mr. Bentley, a Canadian citizen, born in Canada, from being in Canada right now to be near his kids. The visa “issues” relate to re-entry into the United States, a big source of revenue for the evangelist. Does he have personal assets in the United States that he must access in person, such as, perhaps, safety deposit boxes in a bank stuffed with cash (that his wife may not know about)?

Mr. Bentley’s remarks, however, are troubling to someone who is a charismatic Christian, as he professes to be. Citing years of counseling, and a bad marriage as a reason to divorce, does not jibe with the account of the marriage in Mr. Bentley’s autobiography, Journey Into The Miraculous.

Mr. Bentley writes that his wife-to-be, Shonnah Andres, initially saw him as just a friend. Furthermore, she was interested in another fellow, and thought, after prayer, that she would marry this other man.

Then, Todd had a “vision from God”:

“…the Lord had actually shown me an open vision of Shonnah. It was my first open-eyed vision. I was in my living room and my fireplace opened up, kind of like a TV screen, and I saw us embracing in a wheat field that was ready for harvest. We were both weeping and I was wearing a tux and she was wearing a wedding dress. As the vision unfolded, her friend Roswetta (who was now my friend) was talking with me in the living room about Shonnah. I described the open vision to her as it happened. The presence of the Lord fell and we both wept. Roswetta said, ‘I can’t see it but I can feel goose bumps.’ During this vision, I also received an anointing of creativity, poetry and writing. In fact, I even received a three-page prophetic poem that I read at our wedding. I still write prophetic poems for my wife to this day.”

Shonnah’s friend then went off to tell her about the vision. Shonnah gradually fell in love with Bentley and they married.

Charismatics sometimes make decisions partly based on what they think the Lord is telling them. Ladies in charismatic churches sometimes need to tell ardent suitors who say, “The Lord has shown me that you are to be my wife!” something like “Well, I’m sure that he will ‘tell’ me too and he hasn’t said anything yet!”

What disturbs me about the account in the book is this. Mr. Bentley is alleging that he received special direction from the Lord to marry his wife, moreover, that he received special help from God to enable him to show love to her. If I were Bentley, I would be frightened to fly in the face of this alleged vision by pursuing a divorce. Would he not be going against the revealed will of God in what he is said to have seen…if we assume this vision actually took place?

Mr. Bentley is acting like this vision never took place, or is wrong. This poses a serious logical problem for the evangelist.

If the vision never took place, what other visions has he made up? He's had some doozies, which I won't get into here.

If the vision never took place, did he use his fib to prevent Shonnah from having God’s best for her life? What kind of selfish person would you have to be to do something like that?

This poses a problem for how he does his ministry as well. Many times, Mr. Bentley has explained how he often does ministry. Supposedly, he prays and tries to foresee what God will do at his upcoming meeting. In a vision, God will show him the faces of people, or tell him their names, or show him where they will be sitting in the meeting and then reveal extra information such as what their sickness is, or a special message from God for them.

If Mr. Bentley misread what he thought God was saying, this implies that in a “big question” that he can be horribly misled in hearing from God. Someone with terminal cancer, wanting healing prayer from Mr. Bentley, would certainly want to be able to put confidence in him being able to hear from God, especially if they were going to make medical decisions partly based on what he said.

If Mr. Bentley makes up what he says that God shows him, or uses the technique of “cold reading” to give those who come forward for prayer what they want to hear, that would certainly reflect on his character in a bad way.

If Mr. Bentley is to return to ministry, those counseling him will need to make sure that he has the character to be honest, and not to spin tales out of whole cloth. Alas, he has developed a demonstrated tendency of playing fast and loose with the truth and this must be addressed if he is to do good works.

Too bad this author has such a superficial analysis of spirituaal matters. It helps no one whatsoever!.
For example, what if Mr. Bentley thought he had a true vision, but didn't? So he is not lying, just wrong. What if most of the time his prophecies about people are correct? Just not always?
If I had cancer, I would not pass by the chance that I might be miraculously healed. "Might be" is way better than nothing.

Mr. Bentley has not been in the habit of directing people's medical decisions. He tells people, as do many other healers, to check with their doctors for further testing to see if the healing they believe they have received is proven by science.
Christians need not "have confidence," in their fellow humans, because they have a good God to rely on. All people are faulty instruments that God can use. If something good happens, it is from God, not the instrument he has used.

This author sure gets a lot of mileage, a lot of column inches from Mr. Bentley's weaknesses and problems. I truly doubt he has done a fraction of the good Mr. Bentley has. As Heibert judges, so shall he be judged!

According to Todd Bentley, his "visions" came by way of "God" or the "Holy Spirit" or "Jesus." Many of them went way beyond the boundary of Scripture and were false.

God's written word warns against false visions (Jeremiah 14:14; Lamentations 2:14; Ezekiel 22:28).

In Ezekiel 13:9, God says, "So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations..."

Thus, when a person delivers a prophecy or a vision in the name of the Lord, and it does not come to pass, that person is a false prophet and is to be avoided (Deuteronomy 18:20-22).

Jesus and His Apostles warned against false prophets (Matthew 7:15; Matthew 24:11; Matthew 24:24; 2 Peter 2:1; 1 John 4:1).

Therefore, this is not an issue of Todd Bentley being "just wrong." He is a false prophet and false teacher many times over.

I and many others have spent a considerable amount of time researching Todd Bentley's claims and teachings. I have also read Rick Hiebert's articles on Bentley, and I commend him for his research and concern for the body of Christ.

On page 223 of his 2008 book, "Journey Into The Miraculous," Todd Bentley claimed to have the "gift of healing."

When the Lakeland revival was in full swing, Bentley spent a great deal of time demonstrating his "gift of healing," by touching, blowing on, kicking, and head-butting the sick and dying--all in the name of the Lord.

Bentley also claimed multiple resurrections from the dead, and even promised to provide the documented proof of the healings and resurrections.

Is it right for you to judge and wrong for Rick Hiebert to judge?

Consider the following points:

1. In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus instructs the believer not to judge hypocritically, then warns the believer to “Beware of the false prophets” and that false prophets will be known by their bad fruit. Jesus warns the believer. In turn, the believer is to warn others.

2. In 2 Timothy chapter 4, the Apostle Paul judged, warned, and named names publicly: “Demas, having loved this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica.” And, “Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm; the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. Be on guard against him yourself, for he vigorously opposed our teaching.”

3. In Galatians chapter 2, the Apostle Paul confronted the Apostle Peter publicly for not being “straightforward about the truth of the gospel.”

4. 1 Corinthians 6:3-5 instructs the believer to judge certain things.

5. Christians are under the Scriptural command to: test all things (1 Thessalonians 5:21; 1 John 4:1); preach the word (2 Timothy 4:1-2); guard and warn fellow Christians (Acts 20:27-31); boldly defend the faith (1 Timothy 6:12; Jude 3); expose the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11-12; 2 Corinthians 4:4); and tell the truth in love (Ephesians 4:14-15).

6. In John 7:24, Jesus instructs the believer: “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

7. In Matthew 18:15-17, Christians are under a Scriptural command to judge sin within the church. And if the sinner refuses to repent, he or she is to be removed from the church or fellowship until there is full repentance.

Righteous judgement is a Biblical mandate from God.

preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths" (2 Timothy 4:1-4).

And that is what God calls ALL Christians to do.

What makes me sick about Todd Bentley is not his lies or deceptions, etc, but the fools who are praying for Todd Bentley believing that he will somehow repent. The truth of the matter is it has been over six months and Todd shows no signs of repenting because he is totally a false prophet and a reprobate.

And God doesn’t need six month of prayers to make a real change in Todd’s life and character unless He knows what most people don’t know or don’t want to know!

You got thing backwards - It's Todd Bentley who needs to repent just like David did and not his critics.

Even God hates hypocrites and liars and has a special place for them

RV 21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

We all know that Todd sexual immorality and adultery has been going on for years. So all those who supported Todd or defended him in any way in God's eyes are also adulterers and liars who need to repent!

Editor J. Lee Grady of Charisma is a liar. He stated about Todd Bentley:

12. Todd Bentley. The flamboyant Canadian evangelist is credited with sparking a healing revival that spread to Europe during the summer of 2008. From a church in Lakeland, Fla., Bentleyʼs nightly services ran from April through July and were broadcast on GOD TV and other channels. Though he was criticized for his theology and stage antics, as many as 10,000 people a night came to the services, and many said they experienced healing or spiritual renewal. The revival ended abruptly when Bentleyʼs ministry board announced that he was leaving his wife. The reality was "the revival ended because of the lies, lies and more lies" for Miriam Franklin wrote on September 9,2008 something that is true today:

Sid Roth fails to acknowledge that many of those in this False Prophet Hall of Shame had fallen even before their fall into other known sin [eg drunkeness and adultery] - many even before they had started on the healing circuit, being deceivers out from the very start. They were NOT ʽgood prophets gone badʼ and their revivals were NOT true revivals but charlatansʼ tent meetings, and most if not all did not even have real miracles accompaigning them, let alone true prophecy and true healing.

Lakeland did not fall because of Todd Bentleyʼs perverse sexual appetite and his drunkeness, it fell because it was a false revival all along, run by liars and crooks. It fell because of the lies, lies and more lies - eg: there were no documented healings - Todd fled the scene after the ABC Nightline expose, and the Lakeland tent came down, LONG before the news about Todd Bentleyʼs failed marriage was announced. It was not just Todd Bentley the individual that fell at the time of the ABC Nightline documentary, but the whole Lakeland Revival that fell (the movement, the prophets, the apostles, the signs and wonders, the feelings and false manifestations) - which is why the NARsies are putting so much effort into their spin to rewrite history now, for if Lakeland is seen and remembered for what it is, THEY too are seen and remembered for what they are - so to protect themself the NAR hang their servant Todd Bentley out to dry with saucy sexual revelations to take away all the heat and all the attention from the REAL issues.

I find it very interesting that not only has Todd Bentley has not repented but neither have none of his handlers, the leaders of Revival Alliance Bill Johnson, John Arnott, and Che Ahe, for being liars and false prophets and supporting and defending an unrepentant adulterer. They were so ready and wonderful praising Todd Bentley and all his garbage but are reluctant to rebuke him because they would have to rebuke themselves and then demonstrate godly sorrow which produces repentance leads to salvation. So they will have to enjoy hell because that is where all unrepentant sexual immoral, liars and deceivers go!

I mean, statements like "fools for praying" and "God doesn't need 6 months of prayer" and "all those who supported Todd or defended him in any way in God's eyes" says it all.

Ironically the only time God calls anyone a fool is those who don't pray, ie: believe in Him.

I would not trust him based on this interview. If the Lord had actually shown him an open vision of Shonnah to be his future wife, why now he declared it is a bad marriage? As all Christians know that God does not change and God does not make mistake; hence, either Todd was lying about his open vision or his vision was from Satan.
If his god(s) is not able to help him reconcile with his wife, shonnah, than he is not worshiping the true Jesus.
Anyway, do not believe in his words. Does he feel sorry for people made lots of scarifies to fly over Lakeland to attend the revival conference? Do not believe Todd. If he dumps his wife, he is not living according to the teaching of Jesus. Do not waste money, time, and energy to follow Todd Bentley. Christians should follow Jesus but not Todd Bentley.

After receiving the email from FFM and reading the above article as well as the Charisma information, and reading the above commentaries regarding the Bentley scandal, I offer the following:

When the Lakeland event began airing on GodTV, my family and I watched every night along with several other millon individuals. We began to stand in prayer with our brothers and sisters for their needs and healing. We were amazed to see God moving in such a way that we had not seen for many many years, and were hungry along with everyone else. We took the opportunity to "spread the word" to many of our friends and family to join in.

On many occassions we made the drive to Lakeland to attend these "Revival" meetings. One incident in particular has stuck in my heart: There was a gentleman who was there at Pastor Strader's church (this was prior their move to other venues) who came to the Revival looking for a desperatly needed miracle. Many of you will remember him as he was dying of cancer. As he approched the podium, lifting himself from his wheelchair attached to his oxygen tank as his wife and two small children watched-Todd Bentley announced "He is Healed!".

We saw this family on two occassions when we went to the Stadium (Baseball stadium that was donated for use). We watched as all of the sick and wheelchair bound individuals were lined along home base field along with this gentleman and his family. When he attempted to get into the "healing line" he was turned away by the Staff. We then witnessed hime and his family leaving the meeting not having his chance to be prayed over.

We witnessed all of the "prophetic words" and declarations during those meetings, and to be honest, each and every time we attended, we felt nothing. We would "search" our hearts and wonder why we were not "caught-up" with everyone else. We resigned ourselves to "its not about feelings" but the Spirit of God - and continued to Praise the Lord anyway. The only time we actually felt the Spirit of God was then Roy and Melanie Fields ministered. You could not only sense how much they loved the Lord, but it was apparent that they both have a servants heart and were not about the popularity of the situation. However, I have never forgotten that man and his family. I often wonder if he is still alive; is he spending Christmas in heaven or with his young children and wife. There are many many families just like the man I am referring to that spent money they probably did not have - out of desperation-who went to Lakeland for their miracle; and left empty. That is why there are so many outraged over what was really happening in the background. We actually witnessed Todd Bentley declaring that "God told him that there were individuals here that were to give $1,000", only to recant that statement "off-air" and admit that it was not God, but him because he wanted the money to build his own stadium. This statement was made within days of the whole mess coming out in the open.

The other is Pastor Strader. This Pastor has endured more scandals then anyone should have to endure. His brother sits in jail for stealing monies from his father's congregation. Even though Steven had nothing to do with it, he was subjected to the fall-out from it. Now, Pastor Strader was/is left to deal with the fall out from Todd Bentley antics. It not only effected his church members, it effected the entire community where Pastor Strader has his church. Mr. Bentley has chosen to go into hiding with is nanny friend in California while Pastor Strader; Fresh Fire Ministries and all of the Associates are left with dealing with all of the accusations; and clean up after the disclosure was made.

Do I believe that forgiveness is in order - absolutely. However, no one can sit in judgement against people who are angry and hurt over this as it was at the direct hand of Todd. To make statements that he (Todd) was being "comforted" by this nanny and there was no "spark" until after July 1 is an absolute slap in the face to the Body of Christ who stood by him during those early revivial days. GodTV alone was chastised tremendiously and criticized for even airing it. If you were to look at it logically - Mr. Bentley challenged the media to "Come; Bring It!; I have NOTHING to hide", but when the facts were disclosed, he had everything to hide and left his entire ministry and its supporters to clean up the mess the best they could. To now "grande stand" against them for issuing statements as they have, is really astonishing. I commend them for speaking out. They are not the ones who decieved - Todd did, and that is an undisputable fact. I pray that the Body of Christ will find forgiveness towards Todd; pray for Shonnah and their children who have had their personal situation internationally aired because Todd wanted the media coverage. He has stated that he has a visa issue and that is why he has not seen his children since July - but calls daily. From a child of a divorce, I can tell you - a call is not enough, notwithstanding the fact that the entire world is aware of what their father has and is doing at the moment.

Instead of lashing out to one another over opinions and statements over the situation, I pray that we (I definately include myself here) all become more estute at spotting the charlotens that claim "I have the open heaven" and find out the facts ourselves as God not only warns us, but instructs us to do.

So obviously none of the leaders who crowned Todd Bentley in June are or were true men of God but deceived duped ones who were deceiving others. And John Arnott lied on his web site that Todd Bentley was being counseled and was submitting to counsel etc. when the truth was that Todd told them to get lost!

So the bottom line is everybody at the revival was and is a charlatan! And now what are you going to do about this fact? All those who supported Todd Bentley in anyway need to repent for many things including that they have no wisdom or discernment and are the blind leading the blind!

I have now spoken to so many leader pastors, priests and bishops here in Europe about Todd Bentley and the Lakeland outpouring and it is a fact that it was a move of God.

If you end time prophetic chritisisers want to stop God from doing what He IS doing then it is up to you. You should leave Christians alone and not judge them.

Todd Bentley did mistakes but he has the same rights as Brad and Bud Press to repent and ask God to forgive his sins.

LK 17:3 "Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

Dear I am Sorry Please use your brain and not just empty words. Todd Bentley is not my brother even though he might be yours if you think false prophets are your friends and are Christians?

And what has forgiveness to do with Todd Bentley when Jesus clearly told us Todd was going to hell since he has refused to repent of being a false prophet, a liar, a thief, an adulterer, etc.

So why are the false ones such as Che Ahe, Bill Johnson, John Arnott and Rick Joyner silent about their lies that they were helping Todd when nothing in reality was happening except Todd was giving them the finger? Because they are ashamed at being exposed at liars and their prayers have no value whatsoever!

Dear I am sorry we all know you are a religious fanatic and foolish and cannot use your brains but only quote scripture verse that are useless considering Todd Bentley has demonstrated himself unfaithful to his wife by entering into a relationship with another woman while still legally married and has refused to repent.

And unrepentant liars, thieves, adulterers, and sorcerers are not Christians nor our brothers unless you consider the devil to be a Christian and your brother. So get some brains and start using them instead of quoting scripture verses that are out of context and not applicable in this case because Todd Bentley is an unrepentant son of hell, a son of disobedience who is going to hell!

Dear I AM SORRY OR I AM PATHETIC

Grace does not mean that heresy, merchandising, lying and charlatanism is ok or acceptable or to be tolerated within the church - as scriptures very clearly show.

Todd Bentley and all the so-called prophets that installed him into their ‘prophetic ministry’ are liars and sons of the father of lies -satan. Revelation 21:18 states that liars will NOT enter into the kingdom of Heaven. There is nothing else to add or take away from that statement. The ministers in this article MUST deeply repent before it becomes to late for them. I am not judging - the WORD OF GOD HAS ALREADY DONE THAT! I’m only repeating what the Bible declares.

The sales now are directed through “Sound of Fire” of which Todd claims to be the company president of, but which is technically owned by Todd Bentley’s dad, Dave Bentley and his step mum.
The new Todd Bentley myspace page only started on 16th December 2008. You’ll note the continued lies about his being a healer and miracle worker on there - and his use of the present tense to describe his ‘ministry’.

It also certainly takes some nerve to write this about himself:

“He was also delivered from a lifestyle involving criminal activity, youth prisons, drugs, sex, satanic music and bondage. Todd’s miraculous conversion to Jesus was much like the Apostle Paul’s on the Damascus road. Todd was instantly transformed into a radical disciple and soul winning evangelist for Jesus.”

When was Todd Bentley supposedly delivered of criminal activity exactly? The guy is a patholigical liar who has repeatedly deceived and fleeced and defrauded the flock. Demonic music is still promoted by him and even playing on his site! As for sex, well we all know of his current unrepented-of adulterous behaviour with the ex family nanny and Fresh Fire intern, Jessa {see http://endtimespropheticwords.wordpress.com/2008/12/31/todd-bentleys-mistress-jessa-revealed/]. This behaviour is his being a ‘radical disciple’? And to equate himself with the apostle Paul - wow.

Todd Bentley lists himself as single and as California based. Bill Johnson, Heidi Baker and Rick Joyner are listed as his spiritual heros. Word of Faith Heretics Kenneth Hagin, E W Kenyon and Benny Hinn books are declared by him as good.
The only restoration spoken of is in some bad dominionist type teaching of restoration of another kind on his blog here.

I am not surprised Todd Bentley is attempting a comeback without acknowledgement, let alone repentence, for his many wrongs. I am not surprised he is still lying and is, if anything, even worse than before. What I am a little surprised by though is the amount of people who still openly support this unrepentent liar and adulterer.

GAL 1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

Todd Bentley is a deceiver who is to be cursed and not blessed all with all his supporters with all the curses of Deuteronomy 28 and Psalm 109.
