Does everyone in Canada have their heads in the sand?

How is it that a regime in the northern Pacific can break its promise to get out of the nuclear wewapons business and possibly blackmail Washington into a ridiculous surrender, yet a nation with a major northern Pacific presence in the middle of an election campaign has absolutely no one talking about it?

What do they think this is, health care?

Sorry, North Korea is irrelevant even with nukes. Their leaders are goofy and their country is worthless.

What are they gonna do? Drop a bomb on Seoul and precipitate their own demise?

They are China's problem not ours.

Apart from the Korean war, when during the last fifty years has Canada ever shown an interest in the Korean peninsula? It's as if this is a foreign policy black hole.

Do you actually expect a Country whose military traditions were purged 40 years ago and left self-absorbed in the "progressive" PC nanny-state, c/w foreign affairs anti-US peanut gallery, in the middle of a political struggle to see who will grow the state conservatively (or liberally) gives a shit about Korea. The only nation capable of supporting a Churchillian visionary is the US and instead they are about to anoint another MSM-promoted Trudeau whose oppononent is another MSM-promoted loose cannon.

Apart from geopolitical power struggles, if Canada was indeed a nation of 'humanitarianism' and compassion, you would think that the abysmal situation in North Korea would be a concern.

It is a country where people eat wild grass just to stay alive.

Political prisoners must supplement their diet with rodents in order to survive.

Umm, yeah pretty much.
I mean, just look at the type of government we condone...and actually "vote for"

The British Crown in Canada subtly suggests to Canadian citizens, however indirectly, that they live in a white, Anglo-Saxon, protestant country which privileges British traditions and those who represent them, and which still accepts ideas of hierarchy and heredity instead of democracy and merit. The monarch of the United Kingdom cannot be a Roman Catholic and heredity must go first to a boy.
