Barack Obama apes Deval Patrick
These split-screen videos showing politicians reciting sentences lifted whole cloth from another politician are fun. Here's Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick's "just words" speech, alongside Barack Obama's.

Yeah, this isn't really a case of plagiarism. He shares a campaign manager with Patrick, had credited the words to him in previous speeches, and at least had tacit approval to use the words of his campaign supporter.

None of that stopped the Clinton camp for making big hay about it in the primary season.
(Did I just call Hillary Clinton a horse? At this rate it won't be long before I get dragged before a Human Rights Commission Tribunal myself.)
