There they go again
Talk about manufacturing biased, negative news: The CBC reports this morning that the Tories' new "war room" got off to a "rocky start" at its media unveiling, which coincided with the unveiling of new attack ads on Stephane Dion. The evidence for this negative conclusion: only two reporters, one of whom was from the CBC, showed up, and they then proceeded to "pepper" the Tory spokesmen with questions.
I'd say that if the proceedings were proof of anything, it is that the morning event proved that the Tories' relationship with the CBC got off to a rocky start.

Just you watch, folks.
The mainstream print media including our "national newspaper" the Globe, and the CBC are going to pull out all of the stops to try to pull Harper down. They will become more apoplectic as the election draws nearer, too. Remember how Paul Martin almost rolled off his spindle, with the "hidden agenda" thing?

I agree with DCM... The wackos in the media, CBC,GLOBE@Taliban, Global, CTV, the Star, etc. will do everything they can to try and take down PM Harper and the Conservatives. Of course this is nothing new, but with this election I believe the media will slime, slander and out right lie on a daily basis like we've never seen before. At the same time as running their daily attacks on Mr.Harper they will contort themselves into pretzels trying to get their leader Steve(the rocket from France) Dion elected as the next PM. The media in this country are nothing but Liberal stooges, a dangerous pack of anti-democratic wack-jobs!
