She's not heading for a nervous breakdown. She's just an asshole. You know, like Keith Olbermann, James Carville, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, and so many others.

The real question is: Why do you bother to read her ravings? Listening to any of the above mentioned folks too much is a recipe for insanity. They are best avoided altogether.

Lots of personal smears. It appears that the CBC is now at the same level as the National Enquirer and Inside Edition. Disband the CBC immediately.

Fact Check,

Bill O'Reilly is the most fair political show host I have ever seen. If you think not, then you have not watched or listened.

Rush Limbaugh is very entertaining and he criticizes both sides. His revelations are always backed by fact. Same with O'Reilly.

Ann Coulter is brilliant, provocative and endlessly entertaining. She is a bit of a Shock Jock type.

If you didn't simply hate them and bothered to check them out in depth, you would probably like them.

I don't pay attention to the other two so I have no comment on them.

Regarding the foul mouthed Heather Mallick spewing her hateful commie bile, she is just really unhappy because she is fat and has too much hair on her back.

John,

In short, you think the three right-wing blowhards I named are all swell and the three left-wing blowhards are worth ignoring, hateful, and fat.

Drink Kool-Aid much? How about grape Flavor Aid?

Her dad was my doctor in the early 80's. I'm sure he's long since retired. Her mom is Scottish, and worked in her husbands clinic. We thought they were a nice couple. He was an avid moose hunter.

I liked him because he was a pushover for prescriptions. I was in competitive boxing then, and always in need of something or other. We used to get DMSO from him. My friend got some Demarol once after getting a road rash. He was a big fan of CoActifed, which made a cold something you look forward to. Adrenalin, pain killers, valium, he was THE MAN.

He was also a surgeon at one time. I let him hack at my nose once, but decided that was too much for the old guy.

I can't imagine how his daughter ended up so messed up. Her parents seemed to be well grounded. There was one thing odd about him though.

He was very much against young people having too much sex. He lectured a few people enough to get a reputation for being a little creepy.

Oh well, I suppose there were many factors that made the daughter what she is today.

I wonder what would happen to CBC employees if they were all fired one day. Would they all go to Al-Jazeera? They're all crazy enough but that network only has so much money.

I see she's getting flogged in the comments over there.

Who pays her to write such drivel? Oh yeah that's right - the taxpayer does! FIRE HER! Or better yet, FIRE THEM ALL!

Fact check,

You think they are blow-hards because you have not listened to them. They deal in facts. That should be of interest to you.

Those are folks who are fighting to keep the capitalist system going. That is the proven system for creating wealth.

If you oppose them, you are a socialist. That is the system that is proven to not work. It has no funding of it's own.

Heather Mallick's writing is sometimes very strange and not something you'd hear from an "ordinary" person but she writes to shock many readers. I highly doubt her personality is anything like her writing. She got us all talking so it must be worth something whether we agree or disagree. She's from Northern Ontario where most people have left leaning views. She can make people angry which in a way is sort of funny.

This women would give the Taliban reason to open another sports stadium.

Heather you are obviously not a mother. Every mother has this worry in the back of her mind that some pervert or some armed lunatic is going to harm their child at school. We are probably even more fanatic about this, a REAL and OMNIPRESENT risk, than you are with your deranged ravings.

This training is as much for the peace of mind of the parents as it is for the safety of their children.

if I was Harper, I'd order the CBC president to fire Mallick immediately. She'd show up for work one day only to find herself led out in handcuffs, her stuff in boxes, and an ROE that said "Fired" I'd even make sure that she'd never find work again in North America ever again.

The taxpayer deserves better value for their money. Far from being an alternative voice, the CBC exists only to serve itself. In order to preserve the sanctity of freedom of speech and of the press from government coercion, I recommend that the CBC be disbanded.

CTV reports that the John Deere factory in Welland, Ontario is closing by the end of 2009. Finally, another plank in Ontario's oppression is coming to an end. The de-industrialization of Ontario is well underway. By 2030, they will be an agricultural society made of plantations, strip malls and angry white people. Well, it already has the first two! Just don't come to Alberta. Your kind aren't welcome there.

Heather Malice and the wonderfuly wise and fair Democrats would never ever stoop so low as to accuse a female political candidate of having a pregnant out-of-wedlock teenage daughter. They wouldn't ever scrape so low. Furthermore Heather Malice, would never join her media soul-sisters at CNN, MSNBC, Daily Kos and the Olbermanns to pretend that said Sara Palin is not the mother of a so-called 5th child who has Down's Syndrome, but that the pregnant daughter is the secret mother. The only thing missing from Heathers spoken terror is that they were not smartly feminist enough to abort the babies in the first place and it is quite outrageous that the daughter plans to marry the father. Somebody call Fox News!

Aside from its partisan and puerile nature, the column is lowbrow and predictable and not worthy of our national news organization. The anger is palpable and the humour is pallid. The column reveals the prejudice and patrician contempt of its author, and in doing so does offer the service of revealing the effete and corrupt attitudes of leftist “intellectuals”. They love mankind its is humans they hate .

I just re-read it, I think it qualifies as hate literature. You could slander no other group (white trash etc) in society this way. Shame.
