Uh-oh: "I'm a Hillary Clinton Democrat and I support John McCain!"

McCain's campaign ads have been excellent lately. Here's another one that is bound to drive people a little crazy:

Debra, the woman in the ad, is indeed a Democrat. In fact, she was one of Hillary Clinton's elected delegates. She was turfed when she continued to support Clinton even after the primaries were over and it was clear Obama was the victor.

Meanwhile, a CNN poll shows the race between Obama and McCain is now tied. Peeling off a few more disgruntled Hillary supporters could make a huge difference in this election.

Man, these ads are spectacular.

I can't recall a series of ads that have been as hard-hitting as McCain's. They go straight for the jugular.

My prediction is still a McCain loss, but if anything is going to change my mind about this, it's McCain's ad team.

Speaking of which--anyone know who his ad team is? I want to see some of their other work.

McCain is getting thin with cash. His ads have to be hard and precise. He has no back up from party or presidents as Obama does. He is picking up on some swinging votes but not much support from democrats as this latest ad with Debra Bartoshevich is pursuing. McCain has to be proven for as the guy who cares for people first but he has trouble with that on all corners. That is because of his wealth and ties with George W Bush. All sign are that he is desperate and that he is on thin line in shadow always waiting his moment but he lways misses it or he is not effective. Obama is all real and for people trully and that is why he is not loosing support and once he gets supporter, that suporter doesn't change his mind like he would likley with McCain.

There's another anti-Obama ad I saw today that is just devastating, but I'm almost hesitant to link to it, and I'm not putting it on the Shotgun's main page.

It was put out by the Texas Republicans.

It's effective, just extremely vicious.

Wow. Just wow. That. is. brutal.

We need to post it up, Terrence. It's very relevant.

If this fascist bloodthirsty beast wins the upcoming US elections, the United States as a nation is finished.

Prominent psychiatrists have consistently diagnosed McCain as an 'extreme psychopath'. It explains why he is so receptive to the call of Neocons. He is promising 'a hundred year of war' and utter destruction, with nuclear weapons, of any country who stands in the way of the genocidal israelis and the neocon cabal.

Obama is not much better as the nomination of the cabal-certified Biden proves. According to a well-known cabal insider (Lieberman), Biden is 'kosher' i.e. another fellow psychopath.

All this bodes ill for decent human being of this world. The neocon cabal has barely begun its bloodthirsty rape of this planet, and McCain is one the finest beasts in their current arsenal.

For a detailed study of this scoundrel I refer people to www.texemarrs.com ... enjoy, folks.

Holy cow. I sure hope those prominent psychiatrists come forward before we are swallowed by the fires of hell that McCain will surely unleash.

Wow Joe, you hit all the buzz words that crazies like to hit.

Let me list them:

utter destruction
genocidal Israelis
nuclear weapons
rape of the planet

It's high time you take your tin hat off pal. Just sit down, take deep breaths and let the drugs work.

I predict that McCain will unleash sharks with lasers and every angry sea bass.

Posted by: Ike | 2008-08-26 1:42:48 PM

The whole thing is just Obscene.

Posted by: JC | 2008-08-26 1:55:38 PM

Has anyone checked out that website, http://www.texemarrs.com?

It's, uh, odd. I think they're Ron Paul supporters. The Alex Jones stuff on the website was my first tip off.

And I want to see John McCain release angry sea bass! Angry, hungry sea bass, with bees in their mouths, and before they bite you they shoot bees at you.

Posted by: Terrence Watson | 2008-08-26 2:02:21 PM

Terrence: The bees are in the bonnet. The bonnet. Not the mouth, but the bonnet.

And they don't so much shoot out at you, they swarm you, after the shark has taken a bite of your leg, and you can't move due to the sea bass. The ones that are angry.

Also, there is salt that goes in your wounds--in your wounds!--right after all the bass and sharks and bees are through.

It is a frightening thought.

"Also, there is salt that goes in your wounds--in your wounds!--right after all the bass and sharks and bees are through."

John McCain truly is an "extreme psychopath." Prior to him, only Hitler threatened to release the angry sea bass, and even he didn't do it in the end.

The fear -- she is overwhelming.

I'm afraid the only defense I can offer against the angry sea bass is a hot grill. They're delicious with lemon and butter.

Lemon/Butter for President in 2008!

Posted by: Terrence Watson | 2008-08-26 2:19:53 PM

Well the sea bass actually spit salty water at you that gets in your shaving cuts and man does it ever sting. In addition to the sea bass McCain will bring multitudes of dossile carp fish that will annoy everyone with their constant opening and closing of their mouths.

To Lemon/Butter '08!

Posted by: Ike | 2008-08-26 2:23:59 PM

Ike, I don't know why, but your image of John McCain releasing every angry sea bass just struck me as hilarious (if that wasn't obvious.)

Well done!

Now I'm off to work on the Lemon/Butter campaign.

Posted by: Terrence Watson | 2008-08-26 2:28:39 PM

Truth be told it was a typo that I decided to not correct as I knew hilarity would ensue.

Posted by: Ike | 2008-08-26 2:36:17 PM

Daddy sang sea bass, mama sang sea tenor, me and little brother would join right in there...
