WS Radio: Theresa Matters

Wsradio_header

Listen live (QuickTime), Mondays, 4 - 6 p.m. EST

"Political Animals"--the flagship radio show of Western Standard radio--is a weekly political talk show on 88.1 WBGUFM hosted by Jay Lafayette, Peter Jaworski, and Terrence Watson.

Today's show will delve a little into the Clinton/Obama business. We'll also talk a little more about the chimpanzee who might get human rights, about the Olympics in Beijing, and potential VP nominees for McCain.

But, mostly, we'll talk about the York Federation of Students decision to ban pro-life groups on campus. Our phone-in guest will be Theresa Matters, Executive Director of the National Campus Life Network. Here at the WS, we're all over this issue: Check out Andrea Mrozek's post on the topic, and the editorial from Johanna Miller, President of the NCLN, titled "Pro-life groups told to shut up."

Freedom of speech? Yup, we're fans.

Political Animals is on every Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, broadcast out of 88.1 FM in the Bowling Green, Ohio area, and on www.wbgufm.com worldwide. To listen to a direct stream, click here (QuickTime). To participate in the discussion, you can call 888-7-WBGUFM, or send us an email at politicalanimals-at-wbgufm-dot-com.
