It looks like some people have finally had enough of these "illegal" blockades. Whan our government and police forces do nothing on these issues, and people start taking the law into their own hands, isn't that a sign of a country collapsing?

Screw these whiny Indians. They have all the opportunity of anyone else in Canada and even more. They can get free education, lots of other people's money and a guaranteed government job if they bother to apply for one.
They are simply too stupid to realize what the white man has done for them lately.
Living in the past is for idiots and Indians.
Get a life and you won't have time for blockades that simply make people hate you and interfere other people's livelihoods. Everyone wants you to go earn a living like the rest of us and join the greater society. There is no future living like ... well ... Indians.
Industrious people own and operate this society. All others are being left in the dust with socialist dreams.

John, maybe you should take a walk through downtown Calgary, and have a look at all the drunken " white boys" hanging around down there who also don't have jobs.

In this particular case it relates to none of this. There is massive exploration for gas/oil all around the Kelly Lake reserve and they are simply worried that if something goes sideways they will be the ones to pay the price. Most whites in the area feel the same way.

prairie dog........not the exploration.Flaring everywhere you look. Would probably help if we got even a little break on heating costs. We get pipelines by the hundreds going out of here but get screwed like everyone else by exorbitant cost to heat our homes.10 minutes flaring would probably heat my house for a year.

You don't know the difference between race and culture. I don't dislike Indians for their genetics, but rather for their cave man culture that we are funding and they are suffering with. Wise up.
The drunk white guys on the streets of Calgary are the disadvantaged group nowadays. Where have you been hiding for the past thirty years. They don't have a treaty or educational opportunities. Nor do they have a "White Guy Day" in their honor. They don't get special status and no one really cares about them. Why should they, they are white men. Everyone knows that they can take care of themselves, it's the Indians who cannot take care of themselves ....
