Never mind. I'm of the opinion that some groups can beat any tax system. But those who comply pay for those who lie. Nothing's perfect.

I would think that any item an employer provides a worker to increase productivity during the work day or at the workplace should be tax free. Providing lunches encourages working through lunches. Providing coffee encourages employess to be more alert. If these so-called' benefits' become taxable, what next? Tax our desktop computer... because it is really only a convenience and not a neccessity of the workplace? Tax the ergonomic chair (because 'hey.. we could work from the floor... office furniture is simply a perk.' Even tax your office space, because we cold all be working in the parking lot. Just another case that proves common sense isn't quite so common.
