Canada Praised
US President Bush and Secretary of State Rice both praised Canada's role in the ongoing struggle against terrorism in Afghanistan:
"I want to thank also the people of Canada for that extraordinary contribution," [...] "I want to say to the families of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice there that their sacrifice is not in vain. It is in the cause of freedom -- a noble cause."
The Foreign Affairs ministry web site has more on that.

They appreciate us is more like it, now that we have proved to be a reliable ally - finally.

The Liebrals and Dippers will say, as they always say, that America doesn't appreciate Canada. Shows that they are complete, ungrateful losers for whom no amount of gratitude is enough. No wonder so many of them are from Toronto. Pathetic.

Even an unpopular president holds sway with the American population. Any suggestion of gratitude will definitely improve everyday relations with our neighbours. Maybe they'll wave with all their fingers when the see Canadian lisence plates from now on.
