Jack Thinks We Should Leave

Jack Layton says Canada should pull out of Afghanistan immediately, while the Liberals and the Bloc want to leave at the end of our current NATO commitment, due to expire in 2009.

Here are a few recent examples of what would continue to happen to the Afghan people if we abandon them, as people like Layton and Dion suggest.

Taliban insurgents hanged a teenager in southern Afghanistan because he had American money in his pocket, stuffing five US$1 bills into his mouth as a warning to other villagers not to use dollars.

The Taliban killed another man in Sangin on Saturday after he sought farm assistance and seeds from an international aid program.

Taliban insurgents in Ghazni province ambushed a police convoy on Sunday, killing eight officers.

But people like Jack Layton feel we should leave immediately and try to negotiate with these ‘people’.  They seem like reasonable people to me?  I’m sure they’ll be open to discussions with you Jack!

The Taliban said international troops must leave the country before any talks are held.

There is no word on whether Jack Layton will take the terrorists at their word when they say they will cooperate with peace talks once all NATO troops are removed and Afghanistan is left defenseless and at the complete mercy of the Taliban regime.

And these are the people Taliban Jack wants us to negotiate with:

"Pakistan after militant threats"

Islamabad - More than 100 girls' schools were closed down in north-west Pakistan Monday following the murder of a female teacher by suspected pro-Taliban militants in the tribal areas bordering Afghanistan, media reports said. The teacher was shot dead Saturday in the Mohmand Agency in what appeared to be the fulfilment of threats of reprisals by Islamic extremists if teachers did not start wearing burka head-to-toe veils.

WE CANNOT live with these Islamonazi barbarians. There is no compromise. Either we crush them and obliterate them or we submit to their uncivilized practices and beliefs. Just remember to keep telling yourself, "Islam is the religion of peace".

O/T:

"Putin Says He May Become Premier After Term Ends"

Moscow - Russian President Vladimir Putin, barred by the constitution from seeking a third straight term in office, unveiled a plan to stay in power by becoming prime minister. ''To become the head of government is quite a realistic proposal,'' Putin told a congress of the pro-Kremlin United Russia party in Moscow today. He said he'll lead the party's list of candidates for parliamentary elections in December. Russian stocks surged after the announcement.

KGB BOY isn't just content to rule from the shadows. It appears he wants a title of prominence and continued face time in the media. The New Russian democracy is the same as the old, as in Venezuela, as in many despotic nations that use the word and soil it.

Maybe 'Jack be Nibble' would be willing to go to Afghanistan returning waving a signed agreement with the Taliban announcing 'PEACE IN OUR TIME; !!

I think taliban jack should be putin the garbage can!

He would also permit the terrorists to kill Israelis, and say all we have to do is listen to the terrorists, and negotiate with them. Well, if we listened to him, well, we would all loose.

Pat Boone (would you believe it, a Jew quoting Pat Boone?) said it very very well in the following article:

""LET US HOPE THAT AT BOONE GOT IT RIGHT!"

Who needs Israel anyway?

Posted: July 21, 2007

By Pat Boone

Many Western and European political leaders having heard the deprecations and the determination to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, from the likes of Palestinian Yasser Arafat, Saudi Arabian Osama bin Laden, Iraq's Saddam Hussein, Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and so many other power brokers in the region have come dangerously close to deciding that little Israel is the "thorn in the side" of world order.

The next logical thought is: "Who needs Israel ? Let her be erased, her people dispersed (or whatever), and the Middle East can settle comfortably into a harmonious Islamic community of states. Problem solved!"

What folly. What suicidal blindness.

I just returned from a momentous event in our nation's capital. An organization called Christians United for Israel , or CUFI, convened 4,000 people from all 50 states in several days of briefings and strategy sessions, culminating in an exhilarating, rousing rally in the D.C. Convention Center featuring Jewish leaders and top Christian ministers celebrating the things we hold in common and the spiritual bonds that unite us. The next day, several thousand of the participants fanned out over Washington and Capitol Hill, lobbying virtually every representative and senator on behalf of Israel and its sovereignty.

Why? Coul d n't we all see this is an exercise in futility, an unnecessary bother that we'd all be better off if Israel didn't exist?

No, we all see clearly that the world needs Israel . The whole world.

What do I mean? Consider:

Israel, the 100th smallest country, with less than 1/1000th of the world's population, can make claim to an astounding number of society's advances in almost every direction!

Intel's new multi-core processor was completely developed at facilities in Israel . And our ubiquitous cell phone was developed in Israel by Motorola, which has its largest development center in the little land.

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology was pioneered in Israel.

AirTrain JFK, the 8.1-mile light rail labyrinth that connects JFK Airport to NYC's mass transit is protected by the Israeli-developed Nextiva surveillance system.

Bill Gates calls Israel "a major player in the high-tech world"; most of Windows NT operating system was developed by Microsoft-Israel; the Pentium MMX Chip technology was designed in Israel at Intel; both Microsoft and Cisco built their only R&D facilities outside the U.S. in Israel; and, with more than 3,000 high-tech companies and start-ups, Israel has the highest concentration of high-tech companies in the world apart from the Silicon Valley.

Get this: Israel leads the world in the number of scientists and technicians in the workforce, with 145 per 10,000, as opposed to 85 in the U.S. , over 70 in Japan , and less than 60 in Germany . With over 25 percent of its workforce employed in technical professions, Israel places first in this category as well! It goes on and on.

The Weizmann Institute of Science has been voted "the best university in the world for life scientists to conduct research." Israeli researchers have:

Discovered the molecular trigger that causes psoriasis.
Developed the Ex-Press shunt to provide relief for glaucoma sufferers.
Unveiled a blood test that diagnoses heart attacks ... by telephone!
Found a combination of electrical stimulation and chemotherapy that makes cancerous metastases disappear and developed the first fully computerized, no-radiation, diagnostic instrumentation for breast cancer!
Designed the first flight system to protect passenger and freighter aircraft against missile attack.
Developed the first ingestible video camera so small i t fits inside a pi ll used to view the small intestine from the inside, enabling doctors to diagnose cancer and digestive disorders!
Perfected a new device that directly helps the he art pump blood, an innovation with the potential to save lives among those with congestive heart failure, synchronizing the heart's mechanical operations through a sophisticated system of sensors. These are only a few of Israel 's recent contributions to the welfare of the world. There are just too many to list here. Water shortage, global warming, space travel, anti-virus, anti-smallpox, blood pressure, solar power, paralysis, diabetes, data storage these and hundreds more are being addressed by Israel's scientists. They're pioneeri ng in DNA research, using tiny strands to create human transistors that can literally build themselves and playing an important role in identifying a defective gene that causes a rare and usually fatal disease in Arab infants!

WHO NEEDS ISRAEL ? WHO DOESN'T ?

Israel produces more scientific papers per capita than any other nation by a large margin; it has the largest number of startup companies g lobally, second onl y to the U.S.; it is No. 2 in the world for venture capital funds, financing all these advances; its $100 billion economy is larger than all of its immediate neighbors combined; and Israel is the only liberal democracy in the Middle East.

And while it maintains, by far, the highest average living standards and per-capita income, exceeding even those of the UK , Israel is the largest immigrant-absorbing nation on earth, relative to its population. It is truly an unparalleled marvel of our time.

So what's the point of all this?
Simply that the very idea of eradicating or even displacing Israel from its historic home is suicidal to the rest of the world, not just her Arabic neighbors. Though there are ominous biblical consequences pronounced on those who "curse Israel ," there are also wonderful blessings promised those who "bless" her and we're seeing those real, practical, humanitarian blessings proliferate around the world, blessing all humanity.

Stop just for a second and imagine a world today that never knew Israel . And then go further: Given their living standards, ideologies and attitudes toward all who dare to disagree with them, imagine what our world would be like if Israel 's enemies held sway. Would you rather live in an Iran , Iraq , Syria or Afghanistan ? Or in Israel ?

Who needs Israel ? Let's be honest. We all do."

END of the article written by Pat Boone.

And may the almighty bless him a million times around the Universe!

Socialists destroy the countryside and starve everyone to death when they want to neutralize a threat - that must be what Jack is actually considering since even he wouldn't be that stupid as to allow Afghanistan to become an international base of terrorist operations again.

Posted by: philanthropist | 2007-10-01 1:55:57 PM

you know, taliban jack is so stupid--he really does believe that the terrorists will listen to him.

there ought to be a law against such stupidity.

It is the same stupidity that suggests that if the terrorists simply talk to the people in the west, that we will listen to them, and stop doing what it is we do, and become just like them!

NOT!

"Would you rather live in an Iran , Iraq , Syria or Afghanistan ? Or in Israel ?"

A: North America.

Afghans are not able to choose between our guys and their oppressors...
You know what they say about helping people who dont help themselves...

We should move our troops to Darfur where a serious conflict is happening and where people are gonna appreciate our efforts and sacrifices.

Then, bring the boys here for a while.
Meanwhile, revisit and adjust our immigration policies.

After all that, we prepare our guys, right here, and we wait...

In the realities where facing, this should be the best strategy for the country.

At this very moment, the West looks weak, in shock and divised.

This should not be permited.

Forget all about Jack, Le Petit General Coderre says he is going to Afghanistan soon. Imagine the Forces will be happy to see him, he who marched with the Hezbollah.

It must be quite the entertainment for our Troops to see who shows up for lunch.

I hope they barf THEIR lunches on him.

Posted by: obc | 2007-10-01 4:46:30 PM

relax guys - and lady. Jack's just doing this to differentiate himself from his masters in the Liebral party. He sees the opportunity to win some votes from disgruntled lefty Liebral voters who are sick of Dion's waffling.

Hopefully Harper can win some from the other side to form a majority. Then we can implement the Secret Agenda (Trademark). Ha ha, just kidding.

Soon people will realize that Jack is no better a leader than Dion. Then again, the NDP has had almost no standards when it comes to its leaders.

Hey, at least he's paying the trip with his own money witch contrast a lot with the Libs we know.

I say it's a good thing to have the opinion of "Big mouth" Coderre witch will also contrast with the pre-written speeches of Amid Karzai.

Layton is a caviar socialist and an idiot. He once lived in a rent-subsidized apartment in Toronto, until he was caught out. I can't imagine anyone LESS qualified to discuss the downtrodden than a guy who faked being poor. His opinion on anything is less than worthless.

Amazing facts about Israel from Mr Boone, Lady! I believe our world cannot claim to be civilzed if we abandon Israel.

Posted by: Larry | 2007-10-01 6:54:13 PM

. . . and let's not forget how he got his hernia operation at a private Toronto clinic without waiting in a six-month line like ordinary Canadians.

Oooooh, another sound of scandal in our great Canada.

...Just like those 17 conservateurs' seats the CPC might loose.

I sincerely think that Harper should appoint Jack Shit envoy to the Taliban and send him over there to make contact and set up a negotiation session with them.

He can have the authority to cut a deal whereby they could be recognized and even share power as Karzi just offered.

AS certain as Jack Shit is about the Taliban he shouldn't have any fear and probably would not even need military escort, not that I can think of any soldiers who want to escort him. So I think this could work.

And when I say I think this could work, I mean the is would be a great way to see Jack Shit lose his tiny mind along with the rest of his head. And maybe we could see it on TV.

Marc, the situation in Darfur is more complex than it appears at first blush. You must first make peace before you can bring order to the area. You must have enough troops to secure and hold the area- the same problem we are facing in Afghanistan. It will be a bloody, difficult job and will take years to complete. We have neither the resources or the personnel to carry it off. We would need allies and there are darned few who are as qualified as Canadians are.

Posted by: DML | 2007-10-01 10:45:57 PM

Ever notice how closely Taliban Jack resembles Lenin?

Epsi

Posted by: epsilon | 2007-10-01 10:48:00 PM

"We have neither the resources or the personnel to carry it off"

Like you said, it's the same problem in Afghanistan.

- The people there do not appreciate our efforts.

I took note of your opinion regarding Darfur.

Posted by: Marc | 2007-10-02 10:58:46 AM

DML,
As for Darfur, I'm just using the words of General Dallaire witch makes much more sense to me than anyone here.

Come on guys, Jack just wants the Army home before winter sets in. Clearing snow from the streets is a much higher priority to him than fighting for freedom and human rights.
