Hamilton Spectator: Natives occupy hill near Caledonia
McHale at caledoniawakeupcall.com has been following this all day. He's reporting that the man who confronted the occupiers was was beaten senseless. A video has just gone up on YouTube (which may not be immediately viewable as it is still resolving as I write).

Perhaps we should move the headquarters for the Supremes from Ottawa to the "disputed" lands and let the SCC appointees experience first hand what they have helped inflame with their incrementally empowering rulings.

Nice to see you're on the job. If the comments to my last article is any indication, the anger towards the OPP and the McGuinty government seems to be building to a whole new level due to this latest outrage. ('Caledonia man's injuries on hands of McGuinty, Kwinter, Fantino and many, many others.")
We will be in Brantford tomorrow with media to support a developer who has said a loud NO! to a Six Nations Confederacy Council attempt to extort $55,000 from him. Then, we'll be heading to Caledonia to send a strong - peaceful and legal - message that Rule of Law is the ONLY issue in Ontario's election. These mini-protests were already planned before today's sad events.
We will also be announcing our next March for Freedom, to take place Oct 08, 2 days before the election.
Thanks for covering the Caledonia story. We still cannot thank you enough for 'Protection Racket,' your story about the failures of the Ipperwash Inquiry.

I've said this before:
Cut off all welfare and Treaty money to the Band or Bands that are involved in this.
One law for all.
We don't need the authorities to strong-arm these people when they break the law this way.
All these Reserves have their own police and if they won't keep their own people in line then cut off the money.
When these Indians ancestors signed the Treaties they extinguished their right to the land.
If they won't uphold their side of the Treaty with the Crown we can suspend our obligations.
No money for food or gas or electricity or cable TV or lawyers or booze or infrastructure.
No welfare or medical support.
No power or water.
We can save money and make them comply at the same time.

When police are useless or, worse, are on side with the criminal element, even placid and fearful citizens will, in desperation, take the law into their own hands. God help Ontario if the people of Caledonia decide that it's time to make a stand and create a few of General Sheridan's "good Indians".

Rule of Law relies upon a minimalist reliance on government and recognition of basic rights (e.g. from our Creator or our mutual benefit) such as the right to life (NO Abortions, NO euthanasia) and the right to private property.
The "do gooder" "environmentalist" "Leftist" "big-government" types have their virulent "religious" convictions of Totalitarian government, which ONLY works for "the king" or "the politburo."
Normal human beings understand that ever evolving and morphing and changing "rights" and "concerns" and fickle-fashions of childish "girls" can ONLY destroy civil society. And out of chaos comes Totalitarian-draconian Nazi-Communist style "government."
THROW YOUR LEFTIST-COMMUNIST CREEPS OUT! Tell your "conservative" leaders to START to act like they have beliefs, not just SLIGHTLY less pathetic ideas about what might just be OK if they don't talk about it too loud.
Dump your corrupt anti-human anti-family Charter of Rights and restore Canada to the force of freedom, rather than the sniveling tyrants of European 5,000 page "basic laws" of busy body "tough guys."
Who the Hell am I to talk? I'm your neighbor and I need your help to keep this neighborhood from disappearing!

I wonder if the welfare checks are being delivered to the DCE just as they were (and are still) in Ipperwash during their initial takeover and subsequent occupation of the Military Camp.
Is McGuinty still making sure the natives at DCE are getting their welfare cheques, while depriving the residents of Caledonia their right to make a living and have "taxpayer" provided Police protection. I'm quite certain the native terrorists are being protected by "Six Nations" police, why aren't the residents of Caledonia protected by their police(OPP)???????
