Louise Arbour: Kickin' it with the Mullahs in Tehran

(cross-posted to Flaggman's Canada)

Louise Arbour - product of Osgood Hall Law School in the late 1960s, Liberal Party appointee to the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada - is now the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. What does this mean? It means trafficking in moral equivalency, self-delusion, arbitrary justice, and lending legitimacy to thugs, dictators, and Islamo-Nazis around the world.

Comrade Louise's latest outrage: Joining Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the psychopathic inner circle of the Islamist regime of Iran in the front row of the Cuban-chaired "Non-Aligned Movement" at a "human rights" conference in Tehran. For the details on this outrage by one of our most contemptible expats, I highly recommend reading this enlightening column by Anne Bayefsky, Editor of "Eye on the UN":

While Arbour was hobnobbing with anti-semites, butchers and anti-democratic forces from around the world, Iranians were being prepared for public hangings. Arbour was reported by the Islamic Republic News Agency as having "expressed pleasure with being at the NAM meeting and described Iran's representation office in the UN in Geneva as "very good." In an unusual move, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has so far neglected to put her official statement on their website.

The day after Arbour left Iran the government felt sufficiently buoyed by their UN stamp of approval, that they executed 21 prisoners. People are executed in Iran for charges like "enmity against God" or "being corrupt on earth."

Iran need not worry about the UN reaction after-the-fact either. Arbour is quoted by Iranian news sources as telling participants: "The new method of considering issues related to human rights is comprehensive and not selective and the UN Human Rights Council is ready to present technical and consultation assistance to Iran." "Non-selective" is UN code for refusing to name states that violate human rights, let alone taking action to stop them. "Technical assistance" is UN code for helping the state avoid criticism by pretending the problem is some kind of infrastructure glitch. It has been clear for some time that the new UN Human Rights Council is bent on eliminating all country-specific criticism, (not directed at Israel of course). Now, apparently, Arbour agrees.

The disservice that has been done by High Commissioner Arbour's trip to Tehran is enormous. A disservice to the families of the dead, and the tortured and the dead to come. A disservice to the real human rights advocates struggling to withhold credibility from the frauds. And a disservice to the principles, which have been torn up in the presence of the very individual charged with their care.

another freedom loathing trudeaupian commie loving member of the liberal elite.what a proud moment for all of canada every single time this stunned bitch opens her stupid mouth. how in the hell do these enemies of our country and our whole way of life get into such positions of power. jesus tap dancing christ!

Arbour has been a judicial activist from the start with a hard left feminist agenda. She should never have been appointed to the bench and now on the international scene is simply a disgrace for Canada.

I think someone has her by the titties! You know--with little rings and a big long tether!

The real mistake, was letting her run hog-wild in her position. Someone needs to scream into ehr face, that the people who are killed for religious reasons are losing their lives--which is a violation of one of the greatest principle human right--the one of the person to their own life!

Posted by: Lady | 2007-09-09 10:34:25 PM

lady- you could scream at this woman till you were blue in the face and she still wouldn't hear it. the sense of entitlment and self righteousness of her ilk is impervious to any criticism no matter how much sense it makes. this moral relitivist is a discrace to this country.

commie bitch

woman is an idiot...
'nuff said!!!

Posted by: Paul | 2007-09-10 2:12:44 AM

Madame Arbour was created in the Canadian Judicial process by Liberal Patronage -she would have been selected by the same type of Women activists employed in the Federal Justice Department who fostered and engineering connubial sodomy known far and wide as same sex marriage -the irony is that Chretien would not have appointed her without a nod
from Senior Flunkey Eddie Goldenburger, and approval by Montreal lawyer, academic and actvist Irwin Cotler. a copy of the photograph above should be forwarded to Colter and suggest he frame it as an obscene example of political patronage gone mad. Arbour caused a lot of problems for Canadian Troops serving in the former Yugoslavia
which the MSM conveniently ignore today. The woman was detested by Canadian Soldiers who considered her a menace, but her activites should be of no surprise to real conservatives in Canada. Liberals would considered her for Sainthood if they could.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, what a freaking title in such a sham outfit. What a useless waste of effort.

Louise Arbour, what has she accomplished in the UN? It's loaded with all the dictators and human rights abusers in the world. Talking with them is a total waste of time, nothing will change their sick minds.

By her slouching posture in the picture she sure wasn't too into making any impression on the slags she was amongst.

What is her greatest accomplishment in the Liberal view of her career?

I love the new definition of human rights to take "cultural sensitivities" into account. Apparantly, brutality can now be considered a legitimate cultural trait.

Posted by: Brook | 2007-09-10 7:07:00 AM

I suggest this is only the tip of the iceberg.

We need to look into our judicial system of which she is an outcrop, a product.

There are a whole lot of bureaucrats and judges working against the legitimate canadian government. We really need to do some serious work in that domain. We should do something as big as the war measures that Trudeau invoked about Québec in 1970.

Those bureaucrats are sabotaging our politics. This is not far from terrorism.

Posted by: Rémi Houle | 2007-09-10 7:29:54 AM

I'm surprised that Madame Judge did't show up in a Burka complete with Veil -what's the Farsi word for bitch -she was known as Judge Death in the former Yugoslavia -Canada is in worse shape than we thought
-take a look at "Veil Posts" in the Globe and Mail
Canada's foremost anti-Canadian Newspaper -the Toronto Conservative founders of the Globe and Mail
would not recognize the organ it has become thanks
to the Socialist Horde and ultra left wing Liberal Party of Canada, still having major problems soliciting funds -they need a Franchise like the Ottawa based "Whores R'Us" MacLeod

Someone please put this sick dystopian plutocrat bitch out of her misery...she's an embarassment to herself and a danger to Canada.

Ms. Arbour certainly deserves Pamela Anderson's spot on the 101 List (and besides, we claim Pamela as American).

Posted by: Conrad-USA | 2007-09-10 8:41:12 AM

I am so spitting mad I can hardly type. She is so ignorantly stupid and so utterly naive that she does not know she is being manipulated by one of the greatest terrorists of the last 50 years. And to think my boys are dying because of bombs and bullets funded by this demented bastard. It brings tears to my eyes.

The "Jane Fonda" of Canada without the Hollywood glam.

What a quisling and an embarassment. May we rain detritus upon her should she ever dare travel "The Highwya of Heroes".

Spittin' Mad Epsi

Doubt the present government has any faith in her work, I think she is and should be ignored, just another useless tit, she even looks stunned.

Posted by: LizJ | 2007-09-10 8:56:48 AM

This is the mindset of the liberal left in Canada. Why anyone with more then 2 brain cells still active would vote for a Liberal or NDP candidate is totally beyond me. These left-wing neo-commies are all about destroying what's left of Canadian culture in favour of a utopian, government controlled society where these is no middle-class, just pions(labourers) and the academic elite(Lefty-liberals). We need to absolutely crush these people in an election and remove their official party status or charge them with treason to Canada.

Let's all be thankful that this woman gave up her position on the Supreme Court of Canada - an actual functioning body that matters to Canadians and threw in with the worthless, comical and utterly ineffective UN. It still galls that she's spending Canadian tax dollars but thankfully she's now in a position we can all ignore.

Posted by: John Baker | 2007-09-10 10:16:03 AM

Exactly John -well said - there should be a change in Judicial Councils in Canada to provide them
(they are Provincial bodies) with authority to review Judicial appointments to all Superior Courts in Canada including the Supremes -the ultimate goal for a patronage swilling Liberal or Socialist, just a step above the Senate of Canada. Macleod

Canada should lead the civilized world by pulling out of the UN.

Posted by: John Chittick | 2007-09-10 11:11:18 AM

UN is nothing but a Leftist shrine. We should definitely get out of it, nothing to gain hob nobbing with despots and dictators, giving them the appearance of credibility when they should have their arses booted to hell.

Supreme Court Judges should be elected if they're going to interpret laws and governments are going to go with their rulings.

Posted by: LizJ | 2007-09-10 11:25:24 AM

Canada should lead the civilized world by pulling out of the UN.

And then give it a push so it slides into the East River.

This is a bit off topic - its the obit of Tasker Watkins VC, a truly remarkable man I once had the honour of meeting. RIP Tasker

Any chance of the mullahs taking her hostage? Living under an Islamic regime could smarten her up a bit.

Posted by: Alain | 2007-09-10 2:54:33 PM

So the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights is pictured wearing an Islamo-dishrag on her bloated head, confiming her inferior and subhuman status in the Islamic Republic of Iran. I guess Dhimmi Girl Louise Arbour's definition of human rights doesn't include the equality of women in Muslim countries, not even Western Christian women like her. What a dingbat.

Wow, I have never been to this site before until a friend of mine recommended it to me. Of course I found all of your comments especially informative given that they were developed by inbreds. One question: How many teeth do you have - if it's more than two, I would be surprised? Perhaps a good day for you is spent hunting before going home to beat the Mrs or perhaps a homosexual (or even better, a homosexual of colour)? Dems'a goood beatin eh? Good luck with your KKK rallies you Zundel loving a-holejerkoffs. Canda does have reason for shame - look in a mirror -get a life.

Posted by: EB | 2007-09-11 12:12:07 AM

The KKK votes Democrat, just ask Senator Byrd(D), he used to be a Klan Kleagle.(recruiter)

It was Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, who freed the slaves, while the Democrats formed the Copperheads bent on undermining the Union war effort.

Ernst Zundel was an Ontarian wasn't he?

I don't suppose you've ever read a real history book, EB.
You know, the kind that hasn't been subject to revision?
We hide them in libraries so people like you can't burn them.

Posted by: Speller | 2007-09-11 12:40:44 AM

Democrats and Republicans are in the United States not Canada (check your politics and the flow wof the dialogue idiot).

Zundel was German (check your geography - inbred).

Check the mirror - your one of the jerkoffs that Canada is ashamed of.

Funny joke at the end, your mother/cousin/sister (all the same person) must be so proud.

Posted by: EB | 2007-09-11 4:48:58 AM

EB is one of those jerks who comes to your house, moves the furniture around to his liking, eats and drinks all your foodstuffs, burps aloud - then complains that his favourite desserts were not served.

Typical Leftoid. Can't even complain politely.

Any comment on the obvious connection between the left and Islamofascism?

Fascism is a cousin of marxism, both drawing inspiration from social Darwinism in which the leadership declares themselves the master race and kills all those who disagree.

Do you have anything to offer beyond name-calling or is that the extent of your intellectual ability?

Posted by: set you free | 2007-09-11 10:50:06 AM

Yes, Zundel was German, but an Ontario resident.
Yes, the Democrats are in the U.S., but so are the KKK, and Eastern Liberals got all funny in the pants when they got visits from Al Gore, BJ Clintoon, and Mike al-Moor.(all Democrats just like Senator Byrd)

>"Funny joke at the end, your mother/cousin/sister (all the same person) must be so proud."

My mother died giving birth to me.
I was adopted through the Chidren's Aid Society and raised by strangers who weren't even the same ethnic group as I am.
I have never known any of my blood relatives.

But yeah, EB, you're funny.
Funny cruel, not funny ha ha.
I bet you don't have any problem looking in the mirror ever.
Ernst Zundel and you, EB.

Posted by: Speller | 2007-09-11 11:06:16 AM

Sorry EB but I think you're completely clueless when it comes to Louis Arbour. She is a national disgrace, but of course here if you celebrate criminality she's possibly for you.

Ms Arbour has been a disaster as a Judge in the Hague. She has been given all sorts of evidence that was very important to the reputation of the Serbian people, but chose to disregard it.

There is ample evidence out there that she has acted as a UN stooge to disregard the evidence the UN illegally bombed Yugoslavia, but that doesn't concern many as it was a leftist Democrat at the helm. The hypocrisy is unbelievable here.

What a pethetic f*#kwit!

What a deluded PoS! Who in the whole wide world pushes such A-soles into positions of power and influence?

Follow the money: Petro-dollars! This is just another whore for petro-dollars, no doubt about it!
