David Suzuki, Michael Buble and Stephane Dion?

Who'll be the final three on this New Brunswick blogger's list of the 101 people who are screwing up Canada? We shouldn't have to wait much longer for the names.

My dear... where are Harper, Ezra, Preston, and all the nutcase "militarists"?

For all those who want Canada as a toxic waste dump with missiles and tanks, raise your hands. Those who care, wait, 'cause we'll (maybe) count you later.

I'm glad to see that Heather Reisman is on that list (#48). Her bookstore chain is a prime example of why protectionism doesn't work. I went to a Borders store in Montana, and a Barnes and Noble in Georgia - both far from any major center. They had better inventory, prices and service than a Crapters in downtown Toronto. Don't get me started on their online department - last time I ordered from her I waited six months and it never arrived. Thankfully, Amazon is there to pick up the slack. Reisman is a poor businesswoman who exploits protectionist law to avoid competition.

For those who seek a prosperous Canada that serves its people well, then stay tuned to see who will top that list. For those leftwingers who want to bankrupt it to appease their Eurotrash friends in the name of "globull warming", then prepare to be offended. Those people would raise taxes to pay for Kyoto, destroying the social safety net that they claim to hold dear in the process.

No Liebral, Dipper or Green can be trusted to preserve these things because they obey privileged interests in Toronto, and no one else. They don't even have a conscience because they let children die on the deadly streets of Toronto.

Here's a start for top "honors":

Press Gallery for their obvious bias.

Beverley McLaughlin and her Lefty cabal.

Chretien who's retired but weaseling around.

Danny Williams who is a trouble making motor-mouth, nut case, who does not wish to share the wealth in Equalization.

Out of her depths,Jane Taber presented as a qualified journalist and expert spokesperson on the politics of the Nation by a major Network.

Trudeau from the grave for the mess he left the Country to deal with in the name of the Charter of rights and Freedoms..........

Munroe,
"For all those who want Canada as a toxic waste dump with missiles and tanks, raise your hands. Those who care, wait, 'cause we'll (maybe) count you later."

Why do you ASSUME that one leads to the other.

I could just as easily claim that a failure to have these things leads to caves, famine, and early morbidity.

There is no correlation. Do you understand that statistical concept?

Posted by: h2o273kk9 | 2007-08-15 6:02:03 PM

I doubt munroe understands much of anything.

Most of the incoherent garbage coming out of his gob is indicative of defective education system.

C'mon now munroe, stomp your foot and count to four, good boy!

Neigh - marilyn won't obey.

How about Canada's own Hugo Chavez, Danny Williams. This anti-Canada, anti-business, anti-Harper egomaniacal demogogue is a disgrace to the "Conservative" brand name. Newfoundlanders, restore the good name of your province and send Commandante Williams packing.

Posted by: JP | 2007-08-15 7:06:08 PM

Wendy Cukier should be on that list too. She managed to waste 2 billion dollars without even being elected to office with the gun registry scam. That has to count for something.

Posted by: Zebulon Pike | 2007-08-15 7:07:04 PM

H2, the proof of the toxic waste dump is this website.

ZP, not having a dozen copies of Mein Kempf and Coulter's latest bs does not suggest a lesser bookstore.

ML, I'm actually surprised you can count to four.....

Posted by: munroe | 2007-08-15 7:44:03 PM

munroe: Reisman banned Mein Kampf (one of the least readable books and worst selling books ever) for the free publicity. It was a scam, pure and simple.

What lessens a bookstore is poor inventory and customer service, both of which Indigo suffers from rather acutely, even before being compared to Borders, Barnes and Noble and especially Amazon.

It's so nice to have regained control of this site from rabid trolls.

Ah yes, the mutual masturbatory society is back in all its glory. Who's got the lotion?

One more troll needs to be banished.

Posted by: obc | 2007-08-15 9:45:42 PM

If that is the case gary e, why do you keep comming back?

I would guess that you are not finding what you require at the lefty-sponsored sites i.e. civilized debate.....

Posted by: gary e's gay lover | 2007-08-15 9:53:04 PM

munroe

again, why do you keep coming back to this site if it is a 'toxic waste dump'?

Contrary to gary e's purile observations, there are plenty of different views and opinions posted on a daily basis at this blog.

As gary e's gay lover pointed out you must be suffering with the likes of rabble, etc where opinions falling outside of left-leaning ideology are shouted down in traditional socialist fashion.

A breath of fresh air for you I guess.

!My dear... where are Harper, Ezra, Preston, and all the nutcase "militarists"?"

Militarists? Nutcases? Obviously our friend munmoron is living to close to a toxic waste dump, (or Toronto, what's the difference...) what else could explain such ludicrous comments!

Socialism & union thuggism has a deleterious affect on the brain.

PSST LizJ, it's Beverley McLachlin, not McLaughlin, as in my wife's name Beverley McLaughlin.

My wife took exception to the reference.

;-)

I found Williams at #12 and Cukier at #54.

Sorry about that tomax7!

The old question "what's in a name?" comes to mind, a lot in your case!

Troll filter not working.

Come on trolls go back to your little holes.

We appreciate ideas here, not rabble.

Premier Danial Williams LlB Hons Oxon is a very smart lawyer, one of the best in Canada, a consummate politician and is play a clever vgame with Harpoon's Feds - PM Harper should ignore all advice from the Liberal infected bureaucracy in Ottawa who are focused totally on undermining his Government -most political insiders here in the real East of Canada see Danny Millions as Harper's Replacement - have watched his career for years and
he is impressive - he has already beaten the Feds
and will easily form a majority government in NF LAB next time out. Liberals in NF LAB are part of their unfortunate historic past - like TB and starvation - MacLeod

Posted by: Jack MacLeod | 2007-08-16 7:38:53 AM

Agreed, Remi. This site will be left with the trolls if this continues. No sane person will tolerate them or engage in debate with such fools.

Remi:
"We appreciate ideas here, not rabble"

Only your politically correct ideas, right?

Taber was asked some yeras ago by a friend who imported exotic animals into the disgusting cesspool
called Toronto to take some Monkey's to the Zoo -
several hours later Taber returned with the Monkeys -her friend asked why did she bring them back -well;
she said after we left the Zoo we had some money left over so we went to Ontario Place -true story from Taber's youth when she was really stupid, not like today when she is simply "stunned" god help BellMedia for entrusting their news portfolio to
people like Taber, Puffy Duffy and former stable boy Oliver - Duffy and Oliver should be on "The List" Macleod

Posted by: Jack Macleod | 2007-08-16 7:59:10 AM

Taber the Tattletail is currently "reporting" that
the Federal Finance Minister has been "removed"
from several key Government Committees -in the words of the great John Wayne: That'll be the day" Taber needs to go to Carleton for Government 101 - what a bird brain -the article invites posts which will be dominated by the halt, lame and profoundly ignorant
-but it is after all "Canada's "National" paper -which I always assumed was toilet paper - we threw the Globe out of our facilities years ago - if it was not on the net it really would not exist here in the real East of Canada - MacLeod

All the media practically can be on the list. Here's an example of the BBC's bias:

"'Heavy losses' in Afghan fighting"

BBC News, by Staff

US and Afghan forces searching for militants on the Pakistani border have inflicted heavy casualties on al-Qaeda and Taleban fighters, officials say. The governor of Ningrahar province said that the operation in Tora Bora was going "very well" and that al-Qaeda and the Taleban had suffered heavy losses. But the governor, Nooar Ragha Zwak, said that he could not give precise casualty details from the fighting. Officials in Ningrahar say the area has many Afghan and foreign militants.

From the headline alone, one might think the losses were from the Allies. It must have killed the BBC to even print this news, so they skewered it by omitting whose fighters were killed.

They know many folks only skim the headlines, leaving the impression the good guys were killed.
Systematic media bias creeps steadily into the news once again!

God it must be a frightful world for Remi, LizJ, MacBlowhard, OBC and the rest. What a crew of parinoid, delusional morons!! Jesus, kids, stick the bathrobe in the wash and quit swilling warm root beer. You're so out of touch with reality it's embarassing.

Posted by: Don | 2007-08-16 9:28:17 AM

Don

The insult is the lowest form of ignorance, spouted from an mind empty of original thought.

It indeed must be a simply delightful world for Don who apparently goes through life contributing absolutely nothing to any discussion.

The proverbial 'empty suit'

Don:

What do God and Jesus have to do with this topic?

Posted by: set you free | 2007-08-16 10:21:13 AM

It's simple when the media is totally in the tank for Leftoids.

Posted by: obc | 2007-08-16 10:31:47 AM

I think "Don" as "Dawn" trolls the Globe and Chain Mail too - so much for supporting the chronically unemployed - being a beggar in Toronto the formerly
good is geeting tough now that Tornot Metro are geeting their clubs and night sticks out agian like they did in the good old days. One would never encounter a "street person" in those days. not even a whore" because Toronto's finest locked them up on sight, or threw them in Toronto Harbour -tough to swim with all them quarters in your pockets. MacLeod
in Moncton the perfect little City where there are no street people -they would have to be bi-lingual in any case. can't beg in the Picture Province without capability in both official languages! thanks again PM Trudeau for equal opportunity!
Don please don't drool into your keyboard again. MacLeod

Posted by: Jack MacLeod | 2007-08-16 11:30:53 AM

Poor "Don", typical of his/her ilk, calling names, coming from a mind which hasn't progressed beyond the schoolyard. He/she thinks bringing God and Jesus into the little outburst somehow gives it a more mature edge.

Anyway, at least we know "God" and "Jesus" are not on the list. Some of "Don's" idols may be.

Posted by: LizJ | 2007-08-16 11:53:40 AM

Liz: Scotty Brison's "Wedding" was SOR every living Liberal including some who look somewhat dead, were there -including our own Frankie McKenna the living legend. Little Fart Dion gave the "Bride" away or at least "rented him/her" -will that be "cash or Chargex" all the Media Liberals who could fake the trip on their expense accounts were there, but quickly vanished when the kissing started" hard to take on an empty stomach -two married RCMP homosexuals did not appear much to our surprise
I guess their mutual horsie was tied up. The Socialist Horde and Lying Liberals may think of this
exercise in connubial sodomy as a smart political move - in actual fact, ultra conservative Nova Scotia voters will teach them a hard and not to be
forgotten politcal lesson as the future unravels
-the happy couple spent their honeymoon in the Toronto Subway Spadina men's? washroom. MacLeod

Posted by: Jack Macleod | 2007-08-16 12:29:27 PM

Thanks for that report on the Solemnization
of sodomy bestowed on Scotty and Pierre or Pierrette, whichever is the Alpha we're not sure.

Why no pictures of the happy couple? If it were a Conservative same-sex union, it would be splashed all over. What are they afraid of?

Muslims won't be able to vote for Scotty, they don't believe in sodomy, well, they say they don't, politics may be the exception.

Posted by: LizJ | 2007-08-16 1:23:37 PM

Who was the "bride", and did dion really give "it" away. Were any AB libs there, like Annie. How about Rosie or Ellen.
If Scott and partner and the liberals, and the msm are so in favor of ssm, why was it not covered by any media or tv. I think they all know this will result in lost votes in all parts of Canada when the news gets out. Scott's comment that he wanted to keep it private tells me he knows it is wrong, in most of Cdn voters eyes, except the kook leftists.

Posted by: MaryT | 2007-08-16 1:35:37 PM

The "Bride" is Maxmillan Lawyer from Moncton NB via Ottawa -worked with the Halifax Production Company since bankrupt which subsidized Michael Moores' rant,
Sicko -Nova Scotia Liberals are living in a dream world. It is however difficult to predict how the
electorate will react to the new Liberal Leader
MacNeill, known as "Mr. Fixit" Public appears to like Premier Rodney the Fiddler, who will be difficult to knock off -one former Red Tory who will vanish we expect is former used car salesman, Casey from Amherst NS - who would like to be Premier. Macleod

Posted by: Jack Macleod | 2007-08-16 1:48:51 PM

MaryT: That's exactly right!

Maybe it's time to compile a world list. I nominate socialist dictator Mugabe of Zimbabwe, based on this story:

"Two die in sugar stampede"

Agence France-Presse, by Staff

Harare - Two people including a 15-year-old boy have died during a stampede by people wanting to buy sugar in Zimbabwe's second city, it was reported overnight. The schoolboy died yesterday at Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo after both legs and an arm were fractured in the stampede. A security guard, 35, died on the spot when the crowd pushed over a brick pillar he was leaning on and it crushed him.

Well surely this is a demonstration of the great success of Mugabe's price controls.

Talking about toxic dumps!

Posted by: obc | 2007-08-16 3:13:38 PM

Mr. Harper merely responded to the current political winds over global warming, nothing more. Politicians often do that, like Lincoln in the 1860 election. He didn't want to abolish slavery even though he disliked it intensely. Rather, his platform said that he wanted to keep slavery in places where it was already legal, namely the southern states. It was his way of avoiding a direct confrontation with the South over that most divisive issue. Only later, during the Civil War, did Lincoln abolish slavery as a way to punish the secessionists, and hinder their war effort while supporting his own.

All the science in the world can't make Kyoto a workable solution to climate change. Harper was absolutely right to reject it. It was a strategic and tactical victory because the Liebrals, Dippers and Greens all cling to Kyoto like it was a sacred text. In doing so, they limited their options and allowed Harper to attack Kyoto as a scam, and create a climate change plan that has a better chance of working. He should be commended for his intelligence and foresight.
