Support the troops

Thank goodness that Canadian top commander's convoy was left unscathed during the recent suicide attack in southern Afghanistan.

We owe all our brave troops a big 'Thank You' and every one of us, regardless of our political affiliation, can write them and thank them for their service. They're doing an awesome job over there and it is necessary to express our gratitude for their sacrifices.

Let them know they have our full support! They deserve all support and respect they can get from us here at home. Writing them is the least one can do though...

Just sent them my thanks and best wishes. Looks like at least 50,000 others have done the same. Chances are few Dippers participated, but what would you expect from union thugs and their fellow traitors?

One of the Canadian Air Force's new C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft had its first flight this past week. It will be delivered in early August. I wonder how long it will take for this aircraft, and the three others, to be flying regular missions to Afghanistan. That's the best way to support the troops.

And while we're at it, we should let them and the government know we support the mission. Anything less is to throw good lives after bad.
