The cheque is in the mail

DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke University has reached an undisclosed financial settlement with three former lacrosse players falsely accused of rape, while a judge said late Monday he would order the disbarred prosecutor to leave office immediately.

No word yet on any financial settlement between the three Duke students and representatives from the national media.

I think the Duke students got a raw deal, and should be compensated.

I think the 88 profs who signed that petition of condemnation a year ago, and the Univ. Pres. should all be sacked yesterday, if not sooner.

And Jesse Jackson & Rev. Al Sharpton still have not been heard from either.

I would cheer on a defamation suit against Jackson and Shapton, who did jump to a conclusion of guilt based on .... race?

Expose them for the racists they are.

Don't forget teenaged Tawana Brawley (?) who accused a white man of rape years ago - with Sharpton championing her cause. He was sued and lost but claimed poverty so as not to have to pay up.
