Two more Canadians dead in Afghanistan

Two more Canadian soldiers have fallen in Afghanistan in what seemed to be another terrible IED attack by Taliban insurgents in Kandahar province.

Our thoughts and prayers with their families and those who are affected by this terrible loss of lives.

Europeans are full of it. They truly are part of the problem.

Twice as many have died in Winnipeg, in the same time, how come they don't get the same press time? Is it because a lefty press wants to agonize because they think women in Afghanistan shouldn't feel the sun on their faces and shouldn't be allowed to go to school?

They just don't like the VOLUNTEERS in the military fighting?

It was what i signed up for a few decades ago.

Now this,

"That's the good news? "Only" four in ten Albertans are opposed to a combat-capable military?"

Lunacy! If we can't have the will to fight in a location 1/2 as bad as Winnipeg, like Mark Steyn says we deserve to stop existing.

The black rod had some good articles on Afghanistan earlier this year about how when the taliban think things are going good, they shoot at our soldiers and they are easier to kill, and when things are bad they blow up mines and are more deadly and harder to defend against.

Maybe we could have an article on how many taliban have died. Or does Liberal Canada only worry about how they are treated when taken prisoner?

These brave men and their families have my gratitude as a Canadian and sympathy as an individual.

Canadian Army will be getting some new tanks for use in Afghanistan. 20 Leopard 2A6 tanks will be borrowed, and 80 more purchased from the Netherlands and Germany.

Gee, one might think we were at war or something. Tell that to the Ontarians who still think otherwise. What color is it in your world?

Hey Zeb:
Not all Ontarians are lieberal moonbats, though it is true that most seem to be. I proudly served in the CF up until 20 years ago as an infantier, lugging a C2 and loving every minute of it. I've still a good many friends, from Ontario of all places, in The Stan right now, with the PPCLI, EME's and RCR. Join me in the hope that they and the rest of our brave soldiers make it home alive and in one piece.

SUPPORT THE TROOPS! SUPPORT THE MISSION!

we can be so proud of our young people in the armed services and the families who support there mission. young cdns have always done us proud in military history. they are they best fighting machine in the world. it sickens me to see the liberals and ndp question the need for the best equiptment for our troops. but i would also like to point out the traditional and overlooked role that has been proven recently how australia is sending troops to help us out. australia and canada is so similiar in many ways and canada can always count on australia. its also interesting how young people from ontario are flocking to the military but most surprising is how young people from quebec are flocking to the military. the establishmemnt always underestimates the young people of canada

Bring in the draft for all Canadians between 18 and 40 years of age. All to serve a minimum of three years. [What an idiot! This is Canada for Heaven's sake! Freedom as long as someone else fights for it....]
