Terrorists Coming

Persian language news outlet "Iran Press News" reports that two notorious IRGC commanders have been dispatched to Europe as Military Attaches of the Iranian embassies. These two are Brig. General Saeed Ghasemi, head of intelligence at IRGC 27th mechanized division, and the other one is infamous Ansar-hezballah militia leader Brig. General Hossein alah-Karam who is also known for his brutal suppression of students and political activists in late 1990s. The former's posting is not mentioned but the latter seems to be posted to the Iranian embassy in Croatia.

Gen. Ghassemi, aka Haj Saeed, is the one who started recruiting suicide bombers a few months ago. Iran Press News says these two are posted to hit US interests in Europe.

I wonder if there are any muggers in Croatia? It would be a shame if the General turned up a victim of some lowlife...

I wonder if western intel agencies would pick him up

Terrorists coming? Wrong title since they are already among us and awaiting orders since we have not been smart enough to prevent their entry. Of course in Canada we even provide them with welfare, etc.

Israeli Media reported this some weeks ago. Iran says it is prepared to attack North American's in the US and Canada. Attacks by "Professor" Attaran
on the activities of Canadian Troops in Afghanistan
is politically motivated by Iran to pressure Government of Canada to withdraw from Iran. Attaran
and family must be deported. The way Canadian MSM have supported him is a disgrace. Macleod

Alain is right. Globe and Mail started their banner line lead today with an attack on PM Harper focused on the real leadership he is providing related to the nasty and untruthful attacks on Canadian Troops in Afghanistan by Associate Professor Attaran and some obscure Professor from UBC - Globe cut off reader comments because many comments were and are in support of Harper - a real leader compared to Martin and Chretien. I think the critical academics have direct links with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Perhaps they should be invited for tea with CSIS - Macleod

withdraw from Iran, Jack? Is this merely a typo or are you aware of some covert activity by Canadian Forces?

Posted by: Brent Weston | 2007-04-27 7:29:22 AM

A typing error Brent - should read of course "withdraw from Afghanistan" - Canada withdrawing Military committment from NATO Afghanistan would be a great victory for the Muslim Hordes - the current issue motivated by an irresponsible Canadian Media
is related to Afghanistan's treatment of Prisoners
-I have talked with former Soviet Helicopter Pilots who served with the Soviet 40th Army in Afghanistan
and they told be how their captured soldiers were slaughtered and abused in Afghanistan. Treatment of Taliban Prisoners is not the responsibility of NATO or Canada. MacLeod

We as Conservatives have to smarten the hell up.
We have jackasses from within baying about Harper not being Conservative enough which is all too typical of Conservatives when they get close to real power.

Talk about dumb and dumber when they can't even grasp the fact Leftist ideology entrenched by decades of Liberal all things to all people rule cannot be canned cold turkey. We have to go a small way down their path to defeat them.

We have a Prime Minister who understands that concept and we have a chance to have the best Leader in memory to have full power. It can't happen by feeding quotes from Conservatives dissing Harper to the Leftist MSM and giving comfort to Dion and the Liberals.

We have a choice, Harper or Dion. If we keep on yapping we'll blow it once again and reward years of corruption with power once again. Further we won't understand a damn word Dion is saying.

'Scuse the OT comment but Canada will not resemble the Country our Ancestors forged if we elect another Liberal government as it is constructed at this time.

Posted by: LizJ | 2007-04-27 8:51:21 AM

Agreed Jack that it will be a mistake for Canada to withdraw from its duties in Afghanistan. Thanks for the clarification.

In actual fact the once mighty Liberal Party is on the verge of total collapse. The inept power brokers who selected a non Canadian Citizen to lead have
underestimated the leadership and political abilities of PM Stephen Harper. Real Canadian Conservatives must rally around their first real PM
in many years. Here in the totally forgettable real East of Canada many Liberals have walked away from their traditional Party and in my opinion will vote for Stephen Harper and his Conservatives. Here in NB the new Liberal Premier is referred to as
Howdy Doody" never photographed without a stupid, vacant smile on his face. Macleod

LizJ: the "New Government of Canada" run by SH, is the "new Liberal Government of Canada". In his rush to a majority, conservative principles are being thrown out the door. He dissed his power base on the premise of " who they gonna vote for". I for one am not voting for this "vendue" next election, I'll vote "none of the above" and spoil my ballot, because I am not going to wait for a majority to see what SH won't do for conservative principles, a la Trudeau, Chretien and varoius other liars who say one thing to get elected but turn around and do the oposite after being elected to the job. The voters of this country deserve better than the sleazy, two-faced politics we get today. Voters should smatten up on that!

As a Liberal I laugh. Tearing each other apart is a long standing Tory tradition. Macleod, you're a pomus jackass. Who made you the final arbitrator on who is a Canadian and who isn't? My Scottish ancestors would spit on you.

Posted by: Don | 2007-04-27 9:59:50 AM

Tell you what Don, "pompous" is spelled with a "p"
what makes you think that MacLeod is "Scots" we came from Ulster - to Nova Scotia in 1819 -and you did not - you sound ponderous to me, which can be defined as "boring" - I'll bet you actually think I care what you think. The only thing you know about Conservatives if what you've heard or read - I was laughing about the Liberal in Quebec who just pleaded Guilty to 12 Counts of Fraud, an indictable offence under the Criminal Code of Canada for which one can go to Goal for several plus years. I wonder if the Prison will supply the asshole with a French copy of "Monopoly" (don't buy Park Place) - MacLeod

Posted by: Jack MacLeod | 2007-04-27 11:56:16 AM

Jeez it appears that LeFluer pleaded guilty to 28 Counts of Fraud, not 12 as originally reported. At least he knows where he will spend the next several winters -more or less. What this really means is that his Lawyers advised him to plead guilty, which will reflect on the integrity of Martin, Chretien and Goldenburger, and all the other Liberals who appear to have misappropriated public monies. Martin and Chretien should be considered for disbarrment, that is "expelled from "the Bar" by the Law Society of the Province of Quebec and probably will be, both have made a lot of enemies
in and outside of the near defunct Liberal Party of Canada, now it appears recruiting gunmen in Edmonton Alberta. Citoyen Dion will wish he joined the foreign Legion instead of the Liberal Party of Canada. Macleod

Jack: Well said. We can only hope can't we? That is, that the people of Canada get tired of the sleaze, corruption, mendacity, arrogance, and wrong headed terrorist-loving Liberals, and consign them yet further to the shadows.

As for PM Stephen Harper, I think I understand that he is precipitously removing the rug from under the Liberals. And, their nominating a terrorist in Edmonton [where I happen to live] is an even richer and more satisfying irony.

MacLeans the venerable but floundering Toronto based Magazine just sent me a "news bulletin" in which they say nasty things about PM Harper - I find I can get by without MacLeans, so they will be dropped forthwith - Central Canada Media is a disgrace, and
their support of Attaran and friends inexcuseable
-the soldiers they are focused on undermining are in
fact Canadian -many of them of course here in New
Brunswick -and this has been a particularly sad week
for our senior Infantry Regiment - The Royal Canadian Regiment (RCR)based in CFB Gagetown. MacLeod

My other bumper sticker reads:

Posted by: obc | 2007-04-27 5:56:24 PM

HEY, Even though they are corrupt, stole all our money and ruined the country I'm still voting for the liberals because I'm a fu*ken moron.

Horny toad

Winston: Shhh! With any luck, and any sensible leadership, the plans are already in the works. Unfortunately, I don't think that we in the west have either at the moment...luck or sensible leadership. But wouldn't an unfortunate accident be nice?
