Mitt Romney

Mass. Governor Mitt Romney has done great with regards to Iranian issues. He denied former president Khatami of state police security couple of months ago and, he is currently advocating tougher policies against the Islamic regime of Iran.

His entire speech on Iran can be found here

To my mind, Romney would make the best candidate for the Republican Party leadership, and thus a great President. Any Republican that can get elected Governor of Mass.has got a lot going for him.

Wow...great comments from Mr. Romney. This is the type of material the media needs to get a hold of and compare the presidential candidates with. I'm impressed not with just the knowledge of the region but actually putting together some semblance of a strategy. Kudos to Mr. Romney.

Mitt's the man in '08. He's done a lot of good things besides being able to understand international politics.

Who is the best conservative in the presidential race?

Mitt Romney? Well-spoken, good-looking, excellent track record of management, appears to have clear, practical policy ideas. Con: in the past has argued in favor of some un-conservative positions; may suffer from anti-Mormon prejudice.

Newt Gingrich? Earned a reputation as the most solid conservative policy maker since Reagan (possibly beyond Reagan). Con: Has had two divorces; left congress under a cloud (however specious) of scandal.

Duncan Hunter? Seems a fairly plausible fellow with no baggage. Con: position on free-trade needs explaining, top item on resume is 30 years in the house.
