Jeez, they left out Mike Puffy Duffy Jane Taber
and Craig Oliver. The others don't bother me, except that Layton can be a pain. Saint Alexa is not exactly as shown. MacLeod

Except for Ben Mulroney (aside from being BMPM's son, who is he?) and Rona Ambrose (the common sense stateswoman standing against Kyoto), I'd say all of the above. No contest for the rest.

Hmmm, lots of annoying people on there but I think recent performance sets Taliban Jack apart.

Posted by: Mike | 2006-10-02 9:22:40 AM

What could be more annoying than Taliban Jack trying to look important? Alexa is a close second ranting on about George Bush. She must be giving herself nightmares about poor George, it's an obsession.

Posted by: Liz J | 2006-10-02 9:45:38 AM

Rick Mercer and Maude Barlow have to "rank" high

Posted by: rob | 2006-10-02 9:50:36 AM

ALL those people bug the hell outta me.
Does the candidate have to be a live Canadian? 'Cause I'd have to say that asshole Pierre Trudeau was the most irritating pissant little cockroach of a man as I've ever seen.

(Honorable metion to Lucky Pete's fellow travellers, our own Mark Logan and 'Left_out 99')

I might have chosen a stronger adjective than 'annoying'. Culturally depraved perhaps? Intellectually bankrupt?

Maybe we could lump all the NDP candidates (including Hargrove and Lewis) together for one whole person, and vote accordingly. I can't stand these 'educated' frauds or 'man of the people' self serving pharisees.

Posted by: lwestin | 2006-10-02 11:02:24 AM

Why isn't Stephan Harper's hair on this list?
Seriously, it has to be Stockwell Day.

Posted by: Lefty_99 | 2006-10-02 11:56:52 AM

It's gotta be Stromboulopolus.

Posted by: EBD | 2006-10-02 11:57:59 AM

I vote for Lefty_99.

Show us your picture!

Posted by: Set you free | 2006-10-02 12:22:57 PM

I would, but I'm on here for quality debating and I'm afraid that you guys wouldn't take me seriously with my rugged good looks. Besides, I'm having a bad hair day.

Posted by: Lefty_99 | 2006-10-02 12:28:04 PM

C'mon. We've seen worse.

Posted by: Set you free | 2006-10-02 12:42:51 PM

'Can't figure out why Adrienne Clarkson and John Ralston Saul aren't on the list. 'Glad to see we can vote every day till December 31, because there are a whole lot of extremely annoying people on this list.

TODAY, I decided to vote for Stephen Lewis, seeing as Avi's mug wasn't posted. A vote for Stephen is, in my way of thinking, a proxy vote for Avi whose show on CBC on Wednesday nights, "The Big Picture," is a real stinker.

Pierre Elliott Trudeau should be included in this lineup because even though he's dead, he's pulling the puppet strings of a lot of guys in the Liberal party: Though dead, yet he speaketh still, is an epitaph on a gravestone I once saw. LOL. Fits PET to a "T."

Posted by: 'been around the block | 2006-10-02 12:53:55 PM

Has PET signed up for the Volpe campaign yet?

Posted by: Set you free | 2006-10-02 1:04:43 PM

As far as politicians are concerned, here are my picks in no particular order.

Jim Flaherty
Bill Graham
Dalton McGuinty
Scott Brison
Belinda Stronach
Joe Volpe
Bob Rae
Gerard Kennedy
Jason Kenney
John Tory
David Miller
John McCallum
Hedy Fry

Jack Layton doesn't annoy me. He amuses me.

Posted by: Howard Roark | 2006-10-02 2:27:47 PM

I vote for the entire ndp and liberal party members and anyone who voted for them

Posted by: john a. | 2006-10-02 3:06:41 PM

How can anybody find sheep annoying?

Posted by: Set you free | 2006-10-02 3:35:03 PM

I agree with 'been around the block. Pierre Trudeau should be on the list.He may have gone underground but we are having one hell of a time dealing with his legacy. In fact his Charter and Multiculturalism Policy has taken this Country into a mess we will take decades to sort out. That of course will only happen if the people of Canada are paying attention and vote for the people capable of doing the job, the Conservatives, under Stephen Harper.

Posted by: Liz J | 2006-10-02 4:12:34 PM

Liz J: no doubt there, PET was the worst PM of all time and one of the most despicable Canadians ever. He suspended human rights to go after some criminals who threatened English control of Quebec, and then raided Alberta's precious and constitutionally protected property to pay off his corporate backers in Toronto. If he were alive today, he should be put on trial for 2 counts of crimes against humanity stemming from his grostesque abuse of authority for his corporate masters.

Posted by: Zebulon Pike | 2006-10-02 4:42:54 PM

This may be a fun thing, but hey, do you know what, by the time December 31 rolls around, i suspect the most annoying Canadian will be a pathetic left winger from Ontario.

Posted by: Joe Molnar | 2006-10-02 4:55:43 PM

Come on Joe, give us another little hint.

Posted by: Liz J | 2006-10-02 5:00:10 PM

NO one's mentioned Julie Van Dusen and all the Susan harridans in the Canadian MSM:

Susan Murray
Susan Riley
Susan Smith
Susan Ormiston
Susan Bonnar

Are there any others? Almost without a doubt, they're the yappiest harpies around, either that or cold as ice.

Posted by: 'been around the block | 2006-10-02 6:11:12 PM

i vote for the most thoughtful and one person who does not resort on the left to swearing and making an ass of himself. oh, shit there is no such person. and geez i heard a rant and rave about the real women organization again. it makes me want to buy a thousand memberships.

Posted by: john a. | 2006-10-02 7:00:23 PM

had to laugh when I saw my pick already had 40% of the votes..lmao, glad to see that I am not the ONLY ONE

Posted by: DUsteD | 2006-10-02 7:13:10 PM

The "four susans" - same Mother, Different
Fathers. I did,nt realize our Western regions
were aware of Colleen Jones. Whom my late sister went to University with. Colleen has always been
a very pushy little Lady, but a genuine champion
curler. most of the Guys in CBC Halifax are scared
shitless of her. Cheers MacLeod

Posted by: Jack MacLeod | 2006-10-03 11:33:00 AM

Western Canadians love their curling.

They have various opinions of wee Colleen, but her penchant for gum-chewing while curling annoys more than a small segment of the populace.

Bottom-line, her team dumped her in the off-season even after winning several world championship titles, so maybe those votes have spoken volumes.

You guys may be smart to include Michael Ignatieff in your list because once he becomes Prime Minister in the spring, he'll annoy you all.

Posted by: Lefty_99 | 2006-10-03 11:51:44 AM

Lefty's back on one of his delusional rants again
Quick the meds!

Posted by: in ques t | 2006-10-03 11:58:37 AM

You have to be wrong to be delusional.

Posted by: Iggy_for_PM (aka Lefty_99) | 2006-10-03 12:06:14 PM

Ben is not annoying. He is cheesy, just like his father. I have to hand it to Ben, for actually going and having a life of his own, rather than living in the shadow of his father. So, no, not Ben.

And defniately not Stock. I like Stock, very much.

And no, SH does not belong on the list.

Alexa McDoh though? Sure, she belongs there! Try getting her to stand up for equal principles. It simply IS not possible. She uses women to get their votes, and then has no feelings for ALL women whatsoever! She uses minorites, like Jews, and then tosses them into the garbage heap!

But, my vote has to go to Taliban jack! He really IS the most annoying person, and hopefully he will win the award, or deward, depending on your accent!

See, most people realize that in order to be a polician, you have to be seen as fair. He never gets anywhere close to that, while looking like a used car salesman who could not sell a car, if his life depended on it! Or, for that matter, other people. If there are choices out there, he WILL make the wrong one. Gauranteed! In fact, that is the only thing you can predict about him, which is why he should never be permitted to remain in politics. He stays, because there always has to be someone out there, to get some of the votes, for failed used car salesmen.

im voting again, this time for every muslim guest on the michael coren show that makes excuses for hatred. ah, the moderate cdn muslims, who are moderate because they are in the minority.

Posted by: john a. | 2006-10-03 8:23:07 PM

Dalton got my vote because every time he opens his mouth he annoys me - he talks like a frat boy who has overstayed his college daze. Most of the 'annoying' group like Jacko and Hedy and Olivia do not just 'annoy' me; I find them alarming and disgraceful; 'annoy' is too mild for them. I think Culvert and his dipper gang (including the msm and Liberals) will be choosing Kate from sda. She has rolled away a few man/woman/person? holes and exposed the cesspool under the proverbial 'platform' of many of them!

Posted by: jema54j | 2006-10-03 10:57:08 PM

ok i changed my mind again. my list includes, all members of the liberal party and any cdn stupid enough to vote for them, the entire ndp crowd, most muslims in the world, all residents of toronto, large segments of bc, and people at macs milk that cant speak english.
