I find it interesting that he has such a strong british accent even though he was born and grew up in Toronto and lived in england only later in his life.

Mark Steyn lives in New Hampshire where people have strong US New England type accents.

Are the Habs going to be any better this year?
I've noticed that when they suck, so does the seperatist cause and when they're going strong, so does the separatist cause.
I find it somewhat strange that confidence levels of a nation rise and fall with the fortunes of a hockey team.
BTW, I loved the outdoor game between my beloved Oilers and my formerly beloved Habs (switched loyalties when we got an NHL team in Edmonton).

I THOUGHT THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SUBS RUSH HAS HAD IN A LONG TIME. NO OFFENSE TO THE OTHERS.
MARK WAS GREAT AND HE HAD GREAT POINTS AND REALLY STUCK IT GOOD TO THOSE WHO CAME ON WITH THE WRONG VIEWS. HIS ANSWERS WERE VERY INFORMATIVE AND EVEN A BIT HUMOROUS

A completely true statement - but it has absolutely nothing to do with Mark's British accent.

You know Mark Steyn's gotta be good when he's despised by the "official" MSM in Canada: 'Couldn't support excellence, now, could we? In fact, who the ____ does Steyn think he is?
The Western Standard, by running his column on their back page in every issue, is clearly in a class all by itself.
