Canadian set free in Iran

Dr. Ramin Jahanbegloo was released from the Iranian regime's prison on bail after four months of confinement and reports confirm the news of his release as well.

Dr. Jahanbegloo, 46, was never officially charged, but regime's Intelligence Ministry claimed in July that the Iranian-Canadian professor was involved in U.S. efforts to overthrow the Mullahocratic regime.

This is good news for a change but we shouldn't forget that there are hundreds of political prisoners in Iranian jails who must be freed and many of them are in grave danger of losing their lives.

It looks like Iran is feeling some pressure. Maybe it wants to make some friends before sanctions come to a vote.

And they timed it to coincide with their failing to meet the UN deadline on nukes. These guys are playing the media like a fiddle.

Joan Tintor: Yes, they're playing the media for sure, rats that they are, trying to appear all heart and soul when they're backs are getting closer to the wall, it's suck-up time.
The Wacknut of Iran's main ambition is nuclear power, the bombing kind of power, that is. They've got to be stopped, whatever it takes. A madman with a gun is bad enough, imagine a madman with nuclear capability.

Iran is not the least bit worried about the UN. Don't forget who is supplying Iran with al the equipment. "russia" Also don't forget about the Polish Groz soldiers who found French missles with a 2003 date on them in Iraq. Then we have the Chinese who sell the Iranians anything they want. With main voters on the UN council being financially tied to these nuts, Iran knows they will be safe. No matter what, the UN has never backed any of the resolutions they put out. So I'm sure Iran laughs at Koffi and the other fluncky, Al Baredei.
