Not all Muslims are the enemy

Today, yours truly would like to offer some thanks to Albania, one of the smallest and poorest nations in Europe (and it's only majority Mulsim nation if one doesn't count Turkey, which nearly no one in Europe does).  Over the last five years, the Pentagon has taken several Uighur Muslims from occupied East Turkestan into custody at Guantanamo Bay.  Most of them have since been found to have no terrorist ties whatsoever (a number of them were captured by Communist Chinese ally Pakistan and handed over to us).  The United States has spent years trying to find a home for these people - sending them back to Communist China would be a de facto death sentence, see Huseyincan Celil (seventeenth, sixth, third, and fourth items) - and every nation in Europe that was asked turn the Americans down flat.

Every nation, that is, except Albania, which granted five of the Uighurs asylum (fourth item).

Albania is also the oldest Muslim democracy this side of Turkey, and has resolutely stayed the course in Iraq as Spain, Italy, and others have withdrawn.  It has been an example not only for the Muslim world, but for the European continent as well.  It deserves far more recognition, praise, and thanks than it has received.

Nice PR stunt McGuire.
Thanks to Albania Muslims for not blowing us up although we're infidels and deserve it.

Nice try, Canadian. Albanians are the poorest people in Europe, and couldn't find their way out of a paper bag. Many of them die trying to flee to Italy on the Adriatic. It just proves my point that some of the hate for Muslims here has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge. It's like as if much of the world were to hate us because we sound and look like Americans (though we share none of their militaristic bombast at all).

By the way, Tie Domi is originally an Albanian Muslim. We better keep an eye on him, that damn Islamist hockey goon. His real name is Tahir .... ooh scary scary.

I submit to Muslims and worship your Allah, Geoff. After all it's your mission to infiltrate "dar al Harb" and islamize Canada.

Now, when do we start the Islamic revolution and put up the sharia constitution?

Would that be like how you lump all Christians in with the Catholics and blame them for the history of Roman Catholicism, Geoff H?

What does hockey and the economic state of Albania have to do with Mohammed's cult having an imperative to conquer the earth for Allah the moon god/black meteorite?

You know they're chopping heads and enslaving people today just as they did in Mohammed's time.

Difference is, they have explosives and the want nuclear weapons.

Oh, and the 'moderate' Muslim minority just provide cover and deniability for the majority Jihadis.

no, and not all germans either

but hitler was elected by the german people

and this islamist thinker is found in many, many, many muslims all over the world right now fighting whoever is next to them and not allowing equal status to any non-muslim in any of their countries

"Every nation, that is, except Albania, which granted five of the Uighurs asylum (fourth item).

SAY WHAT?

albania was an ally of hitlers nazi germany

ask the italians what they think of the albanian muslium invasion of italy that has been ongoing for years before praising them! ask about the sex slaves they are sending all over the world right now!

do a little research before you start praising people from that former/communist state

DJ, most Albanians are not practicing Muslims....indeed most are nominal at best...tha is why they are better allies...

Practicing proper Muslims are indeed the enemy...I would actually suggest reading Islams teachings and doctrines and history so as you would perhaps learn about the danger of this evil system that has more in common with Nazism and Marxism then it does any world religion..

I swear, what chance in hell are we going to win when even many conservatives like DJ and others are so willfully blind about the evil that menaces us????

Off topic (Sorry):

Read this official UN press release for today:
http://www.un.org/Depts/dpko/missions/unifil/pr011.pdf

Worth quoting:
There were three incidents of firing close to UN positions in the last 24 hours
from the Israeli side. It was also reported that Hezbollah fired from the
vicinity of four UN positions at Marwahin, Alma Ash Shab, Brashit, and At
Tiri.

See: http://frosthitstherhubarb.blogspot.com/

Hezbollah firing from the vicinity of UN positions? Israeli strikes in the vicinty of the the UN posts? Coincidence? I guess Israel was trying to kill the UN observers. Hezbollah just HAPPENED to be right beside the posts. (Dripping with sarcasm of course).

The Canadian member of the post even warned that Hezbollah was using their position for cover:

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=21786_Canadian_General-_UN_Observer_Post_Used_By_Hizballah&only

I have yet to see on objective report from any Canadian media outlet, not one mention of this information from the UNITED NATIONS itself that places the blame squarely on Hezbollah.

Instead I see CTV reporting that the Canadian Major's wife blames Israel. I am absolutely disgusted with these sick anti-semitic liberal media swine.

I actually don't try to be dumb, perhaps I'm just a natural. But aren't Bill Clinton's famous "Kosovars" actually Albanians? If so, DJ's new friends have a BAD reputation among the Europeans I know.

Jul. 28, 2006
The small group of Ghanaian soldiers manning UNIFIL Position 6-52, to the west of the village of Maroun a-Ras, less than a kilometer from the border, hasn't left its base in the last two weeks.
"Those are the orders of our superior officers," explains one of them who presents himself as commander of the post, but refuses to give his name. "We have been visited by our officers three times since the fighting began and a supply truck arrives here every three or four days."

On the wall nearest to the gate of the white-washed building is an "Alert State" board with the arrow pointed to black. But none of their information on the current situation has come from their own sources. "We know what's going on from the television," says the commander.
Even the deaths of four UNTSO members on Tuesday night in an IAF bombardment, at a base not so far away, wasn't communicated to them from headquarters. That, too, they learned from TV.
The current contingent from Ghana has been in Lebanon for three months. The soldiers at the post are charged with patrolling and monitoring, with their single jeep, the area where the heaviest fighting has been going on for the last 10 days. The fact that Hizbullah has been well entrenched in the area ever since Israel's withdrawal six years ago - with hundreds of fighters, well stocked ammunition depots and extensive fortifications - seemed to have escape the Ghanaians notice. "I have never seen one of them," says the soldier. "You cannot easily identify them in the population."
The UNIFIL soldiers have "zero contact" with the Lebanese living in the surrounding towns and villages. All their supplies are brought by UNIFIL, and they never go out for recreation, aside from periods of leave in Beirut.

The supply of "peacekeeping" troops to the various blue-helmet forces of the UN is a major source of income for Ghana's army; they have soldiers in Ivory Coast, Liberia and Congo. The troops operate in rotations of six months. Those currently serving on the border profess to have never heard of the accusations that the force has cooperated with Hizbullah in the past and allowed the organization to build its posts next to UNIFIL bases.
However, they are aware of the ongoing debate over the force's future and the growing support for a new multinational force to replace UNIFIL.
"The problem is not UNIFIL," says the soldier at the gate. "It's the mandate we have from the UN. That is what decides our job. In my personal opinion, if UNIFIL's mandate was changed and the force increased, it would be more efficient."
At the beginning of the fighting, a number of bombs exploded around the UNIFIL post, including one 150 meters from the gate. Two weeks later, the area around the post is quiet, except for the distant thud of artillery fire. Hizbullah has been banished from this small part of Lebanon. IDF Merkava tanks roar through a nearby opening in the border fence. There isn't even a guard at the border and Israeli and foreign journalists pass in and out unhindered.
The Ghanaian soldiers weren't even aware of the breach in the fence they are supposed to monitor, by mandate of the United Nations.

Thank you Duke!

I don't want to deal with these people at all ever (i.e. in the inevitable battles) but the time has come. The place is Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. These "nations" or peoples must be forced to take control of their populations and levers of governmental control and round up the Terrorist murderers ALIVE (e.g. we cannot "trust" any representations from people who act completely uncivilized) and deliver them to our military forces for imprisonment-justice, or else these "nations" must suffer destruction. They leave no other option and we have delayed to the point of desperation.

This is an appropriate time to pray for those who actually do the fighting.

Geoff H says:

"Nice try, Canadian. Albanians are the poorest people in Europe, and couldn't find their way out of a paper bag."

Ah, the non-bigotry or the left.

Geoff H again:

"Many of them die trying to flee to Italy on the Adriatic. It just proves my point that some of the hate for Muslims here has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge. It's like as if much of the world were to hate us because we sound and look like Americans (though we share none of their militaristic bombast at all)."

Ah, more non-bigotry. And non-judgemental to boot.

On another post, Geoff H pontificates:

"Alain: I'm glad you've seen my true colours - I am most definitely NOT a neo-nazi, neo-con who worships at the alter of bloodshed like many of the folks here. I come here to see a different point of view, and I find many of the people quite sincere here in their thinking (whether I agree or not). There's still the expected quotient of racist hatred one would expect on a right-wing blog, as well as misinformation and spin, and (surpisingly to me) a few religious wingnuts (who use mythical Scripture to justify bloodshed - wow, just like the Islamists?!?)."

Can you just feel the tolerance. The peaceful love for his fellow man.

One more time:

"Forget about a majority. We "socialists" in Toronto - the greatest city in Canada - will not let it happen. Unless you can import about 4 million rednecks into Calgary, we will always have the most seats. (I see the 1 millionth person was born yesterday in Calgary, so you're only about 4 million behind the GTA)."

Ah, the narcissism.

There you have it. Calgarians are rednecks, Americans are militaristic, Albanians are boobs. Socialist Torontonians are the centre of the universe. And those who disagree are neo-nazis..."like some folks here".

Have I left anything out?

Watch out for the "gaslighting". Favourite tactic of the left wing narcissist.

Again DJ, your a good guy and I know what your trying to do.......but for God's sake wake up...and I say that to a lot of people on the Center Right paradigm who should KNOW better...

Obviously not all muslims are the enemy...1 billion muslims and you obviously have diversity...their are many many sects inside other sects....You have groups like the Kurds, Berbers, Persians that are quite moderate...

HOWEVER, and this is where you fail badly DJ and others of your like mindedness....ISLAM is the problem...Islam has been a militate faith created by a militant man....for 1400 years it has been a unrelenting beast on the West and East.....

Please...and I say this sincerely....read and learn....We are heading to Civil wars across Europe because Islam will NOT let up in its desire to kill or enslave us....and eventually that war is coming to our disgusting multiCULTural North America.....

I honestly don't know what it is going to take for people to see the Obvious Evil right in front of their faces???

Are not the teachings and doctrines and brutality of Muhammed enough to convince you that are recorded in the Quran , Sira, Hadiths, Reliance of the Traveler...the Sunnah..Sharia???

1400 hundred years of murder and mayhem and oppression??

Why can't people see this???

I expect traitorous liberals not to admit to this....but I am appalled when the Right makes apology for a death cult like Islam....Absolutely appalled!!!

"I expect traitorous liberals not to admit to this....but I am appalled when the Right makes apology for a death cult like Islam....Absolutely appalled!!!"

I find myself in agreement with the above remark.

We are in a war for our survival. Israel is paying the freight along with the uS and Britain as this point. .. mOstly Israel. We need to establish and war effort mantality and get behind our protectors. Stop this left right war and pull together for our very survival.

We are in big touble on planet earth y'all.

Not a time for bickering about gentile views .. it's time to mount up.

Yeah once again somebody has to congratulate somebody for absolutely nothing, as long as it fits some bleeding heart idea.

The Albanians have been described across Europe as a plague of biblical proportion. They have created a human crime wave right across the Balkans, and somebody here finds a way to do a mental contortion to congratulate a country that creates problems for all of her neighbours.

Kosovo and the KLA or UCK as they are more commonly known are terrorists. Many of her soldiers have been caught with maps on them of the Greater Albanian concept. This map is what the Albanians feel is their land and are fighting to achieve their goal. The map basically shows the Albanians believe that almost all of the region is theirs, including enormous chunks of Greece, Serbia (including Kosovo), Montonegro, and Skopje Macedonia.

So much for your lovebugs, they were people who have no proof that they were even living in the region before the Ottoman invasions (I'm not talking about furniture here), and yet they are running around making claims on other peoples territory and history.

Please check your facts before you place an article as stupid as this one in this paper.

Duke you are right that Israel is paying the freight right now, but don't kid yourself the US and Britain have been selling their souls for years.

The US is responsible for the fiasco in Kosovo as it sponsored the bombing of a country in the same fight as Israel, and this time they bombed it on behalf of the terrorists. They support Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt and arguably the worst offender ever Turkey. Every one of these states is involved in sponsoring terrorism but they are allies, the US and Britain have been running a schizophrenic policy that makes absolutely no sense.

Just about two weeks ago the US decided it was going to provide Egypt with new fighter jets, what the hell for? At about the same time a Bosnian war criminal was a guest in Washington and coincidentally 3 Bosnian officers convicted of war crimes were released after serving 2 years in prison, FOR WAR CRIMES!

Their is no end to the stupidity of the US and Britain, and this is the real reason the world is in jeopardy. Until the real superpowers wake up and realize a war against terror is a figment of their imagination, and make it a war against Islam then we are all doomed.

And, memri.com has so much evidence. It behooves idiots like Geoff, to go have a good view, as that is what is on the table, and not where someone places their backside.

But almost all Muslims support the enemy. Given a chance to vote, they vote for violence - the Palestinians voted for violence and the Lebanese voted for violence recently. So while there may be a few who believe in human decency, they're outgunned by the violent savages.

philanthropist,

I have noticed something.

When the terrorist supporters are interviewed in the media, when visual, they smile after they say something nasty about Israel.

I wondered why.

Then it occurred to me, that they are smiling, because their bosses can see they have fulfilled an aim; to say something nasty about Israel, a lie per se, and get away with it.

I wonder if they get sent a cheque, or whether the money is by direct deposit!

As well, one can understand why Israel has rallies, as Israel is rallying for defence against the terrorists. But it makes no sense that Lebanon have rallies, as the war is not against Lebanon, but against the terrorists.

All they do when they rally, is make themselves look like the terrorist sympathizers they really are. I have heard about the pro-Israel lebanese, but I have not seen any pro-Israel Lebanese rallies. Anyone have any figures or media on that?

Lady, pro-Israeli?? What kind of idiots would be pro-Israeli, I think the last couple of weeks have demonstrated to the world the reality of this child maiming, Canadian killing, civilian bombing, overreacting, evil nation.

To still support the state of Israel, one has to be A) living in a cave with no acess to reality or B) A bloodthirsty person with an IQ below the level of 35-40, equivelant to moderate mental retardation.
