My heart swells
See, the irony is that what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit and it's over.
George W. Bush
We are not going to give into the temptation of some to single out Israel, which was the victim of the initial attack... The onus remains on the parties that caused the conflict to take steps to end the conflict.
Stephen Harper
Gorgeous.

Many will accuse Harper of taking his cues from Bush "like a good little lackey", but fortunately Harper just ignores his critics. Keep it up!

How would anyone like to mortally threatened and continually attacked for merely existing?
That is what Israel faces daily.
I am with them all the way.

At last a Prime Minister to be proud of. What kind of idiocy would lead any thinking person to think it wrong to be on side with Israel in this conflict? Terrorists are the invisible army for the low-life, subhuman louts running countries like Syria and Iran. Harper is a cut above the empty rhetoric coming from the talking heads in the NDP and Liberal camps and he's only just begun. George Bush is much maligned but he seems to have a good grasp of the situation and he knows who can put a stop to this "shit" but sadly their hatred for Israel and it's people is terminal and can't be controlled. There are few options for the world powers to end this madness once and for all when there is no goodwill to be found. What a shame the world of 2006 has to tolerate and deal with the atrocities of the likes of "hezbollah"in their zone of hatred. Jack Layton can yip away about peace keeping like a broken record, he doesn't get the concept of the necessity of making the peace in order to even attempt to keep it in the most volatile regions of the world. It's totally nuts.

I'd feel more sympathetic towards Isreal if I didn't see AP photos today of Israeli children writing "messages of love" on the shells being lobbed over to Lebanon.

I'd be writing "messages of love" on shells too if I were an Israeli citizen. Those Hizbollah have killed innocent civilians INTENTIONALLY. Israel may have killed civilians but it did not target them on purpose. I'd write "Too many martyrs, Allah is out of virgins"

So, can we hope that soon the Iranian puppet Nasrallah will be in company of 72 virgins?

Andrew,
I have it on good source, that the 72 virgins have now Unionized. Seems that all those weddings and consumations had created quite the line-up.
