At the same time, they are removing God from the schools. See the moves of ACLU.
I disagree with that move. I think children should be educated in US values since they have chosen to live in US.

It is just more political correctness running amuck. What is truly disturbing is that most, if not all education systems both here and down south have been taken over by the left. Considering this is the true battleground for the hearts and the minds of the future this is cause for extreme concern.

Deepblue - Interesting point, and I totally agree. Should the right then not concentrate on inlfuencing the school system then? I would suggest that not being more active in promoting more rational curriculae is a major failing of right in Canada.
I would open this questions to anyone who knows: How in fact are school curriculae up to the senior secondary level set? What process is used to assess material, methods and measures?

Taechers who have their minds made up and the Books salesmen who pay the best bribes make up the school system
I was taught in high school that there were good, effective federal, provincial , municipal governments looking after the welfare of the citizens even decades ago. But next in reality we all had found that these self serving masturbaters, bad civil and public seravnts, politicans have even been stealing from us most of the time too, even on their phony expense accounts.

Hey you all did notice that Muslims really cannot but help push their religion down other people's face every chance they can get such as even the www.islamicresourceonline.org
If the Muslim education so so great how come they cannot give the men and women equal rights still? but are still in the stone ages here too.
Education alone is not the answer, there are educated fools, there are educated criminals too.
One has to still apply, practice the good they learn, Muslims and Christians , secular persons included.
I get a good laugh as well when the police say that bad cops need more good education, or the civil service says that bad civil servants need the same thing.
They both do rather also do need to be fired, and learn the hard way how to be good.
Firing bad people from their jobs works and should be applied more often every where.
Ask the humbled Paul Martin today how he feels now about being rightfully removed himself from the PM job.

"To succeed in Harper's Ottawa you have to be smart, hard-working, focused and not cowed by flak from the intellectual ruffians of the press. Harper exhibits a Trudeau-like disdain for the news media "so he fired William Stairs, who was the prime minister's communications director. The blow has been somewhat mitigated by the fact that Stairs was appointed as media adviser to Justice Minister Vic Toews. Firing people works great in the real world. But "Paul Martin was loyal to a fault to his team; he didn't fire people whose incompetence ended up damaging him. Brian Mulroney led through flattery, personal kindnesses and bonhomie and was rewarded with enduring affection from his MPs. Jean Chretien commanded respect, and fear, but he trusted his ministers and defended them under withering opposition attacks" so they next had instead fired both Jean Chretien and Paul Martin rightfully. That is the way it should be too.
Good works also begins at home -Harper Tories back tougher sentencing. So do start with the civil and public servants and do give them the Harper Tories tougher sentencing firstly. Justice Minister Vic Toews believes in mandatory minimum sentences. We still do have too many of them abusing tax payer's money, living high on the hog, drinking vast quantities of alcohol too. Fire them all now, ASAP too.
PS too many of them are even busy playing on the computers at work, are on the Internet when they should be working hard on our good behalf still too.

If they want an education system where they don't draw pictures let them build private schools.

What does God in schools have to do with Liberals? The US Constitution is neither liberal or conservative.
