Vote Liberal
A young man named Paul bought a donkey from an old farmer for $100.00.
The farmer agreed to deliver the donkey the next day. When the farmer
drove up the next day, he said, "Sorry son, but I have some bad
news...the donkey is on my truck, but he's dead."
Paul replied, "Well then, just give me my money back."
The farmer said, "I Can't do that. I went and spent it already."
Paul said, "OK then, just unload the donkey anyway".
The farmer asked, "What are ya gonna do with him?"
Paul said, "I'm going to raffle him off."
To which the farmer exclaimed, "You can't raffle off a dead donkey!"
But Paul, with a big smile on his face, said, "Sure I can. Watch me. I
just won't tell anybody that he's dead."
A month later the farmer met up with Paul and asked, "What happened
with
that dead donkey?"
Paul said, "I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars a
piece
and made a profit of $698.00."
Totally amazed, the farmer asked, "Didn't anyone complain that you had
stolen their money because you lied about the donkey being dead?"
And Paul replied, "The only guy who found out about the donkey being
dead was the raffle winner, when he came to claim his prize. So I
gave
him his $2 back plus $200 extra, which is double the going value of a
donkey, so he thought I was a great guy."
Paul grew up and eventually became the Prime Minister of Canada, and
no
matter how many times he lied or how much money he stole from Canadian
voters, as long as he gave them back some of the stolen money, most of
them thought he was a great guy

Isn’t it amazing? Al Qaeda denounces the election in Iraq as ‘satanic’ because it does not include the ‘satanic’ side of Islam in Al Qaeda on the ballot.
The US Ambassador denounces our Prime Minister because the Prime Minister denounces the ‘satanic’ actions and attitude of US trade relations

Fred - are you, an individual, actually a book?
What 'satanic actions' of the US? What 'attitude' of US trade relations?
The US ambassador, rightly, denounced Martin's use of the US in Martin's election campaign. Martin was doing his usual 'Bash America', as an electoral tactic. As you know/don't know, Canada defines itself only be describing itself as Not American. So, to show your Love for Canada, you have to Hate America. Get the logic/illogic??
Martin was bashing the US for not signing Kyoto. Kyoto is a fraud, a UN-conspired document that has zilch to do with the environment and is certainly not based on proven science. And Canada SIGNED the Kyoto agreement - BUT, BUT, exempted its most polluting industries from its rules (????) - and - as well, pollutes TWICE as much as the US does - which didn't sign the agreement!!!!!!
So- on what empirical and logical grounds was Martin bashing the US for not signing the agreement? After all, Canada did sign it, and has increased its pollution by 24% - while the US did not sign it - and has only a 13% increase. Hmmm.
Martin was using 'Bash America' as an election tactic. That's hardly ethical. How would Canada like it, if an American senator up for election, based his campaign on informing everyone how wise and good his gov't and state was, in comparison to the idiotic Canadians. Do you think Canadians would complain???

Liberal voters don't love Canada they love the Liberal party, They behave like groupies instead of informed voters.
reminds me of Russians that still think Communism was good for the people of the USSR.
Fred is a perfect example of this kind of blind allegiance.

Just wanted to share some good news with everyone.
My wife and I voted for Lois Brown last night, Conservative candidate for Newmarket-Aurora. We are moving to Alberta after Christmas and figured it wouldn't matter how much the local candidate won by there, but we wanted to make sure Belinda is knocked out here. So we filled out an early ballot at our local electoral office.
Driving around today I noticed the blue signs are outnumbering the red signs in my neighbourhood about 3 or 4 to 1, I hope that's a good sign (pardon the pun).

This parable sounds oddly familiar.
The semon on the mount in Matthew perhaps?

Go Lois!
I hope you win by a landslide.
Put an end to "BS" in Newmarket-Aurora.

Not from sermon on the mount. But a very good story and seems to be just the way the Liberals work. take your money... give you back "some" and suddenly they are "the good guys"
Wake up people!
After years of Liberal rule... it's time for a change!
