Merry F*%&*^* Christmas from Al-Reuters

A headline from Al-Reuters this morning:

Bethlehem walled off by Israel this Christmas

First, they killed Jesus! Now, they're walling off his place of birth!! Next year, they'll find some way to ruin Christmas for everyone!!!
Check out the first paragraph of what is meant to be a news story (i.e., not a comment piece):

Pilgrims travelling the ancient route from Jerusalem to Bethlehem this Christmas will find themselves hitting a dead end -- a towering concrete wall and metal gate under the lock and key of the Israeli army.

Gosh, if only I could tell what the writer was trying to say. No opinion apparent there, though.
More of "just the facts," as brought to you by Al-Reuters:

The dusty road to the town of Jesus's birth has been the gateway to Bethlehem since biblical times and would have been the likely path taken by Mary and Joseph. But today it leads to what the mayor of Bethlehem calls "the world's largest prison".
At the entrance is a brand new high-tech military crossing where visitors pass through X-ray machines and have their passports scanned before emerging into Bethlehem..."If Mary and Joseph were here today, they would go through the checkpoint just like everybody else," said Sister Erica, a nun, at the crossing.

Yes, good technique. Quote a nun, for Pete's sake. In other words, you're a hideous, blasphemous person if you point out to Sister Erica that if Mary and Joseph were here today, they'd be bloody grateful for the Israeli army, (in fact, they could have used the IDF back then), its X-ray machines and passport scanners, not to mention the barrier Israel has built, because they would recognize that those things would significantly decrease the likelihood that they and their precious, little baby Jesus would get blown to smithereens!
Oy.
If you can stand it, read the story.
And a Happy F*%&*^* Hanukkah, too, from Al-Reuters!

The problem for robert is that no one spraypainted "F*** the Jews" on the wall like Robert is wont to do.

For the rest of us, the problem is one of context. More to the point, lack of context.

The story implies that Isreal put up the wall for no other reason than to piss off the Christians and make Christmas miserable. Oh, those pesky Jews, eh Robert?

The story leaves out entirely that the reason the wall is there is to make sure that no Christmas "pilgrims" are turned into meatloaf by self-detonating islamic terrorists during the festivities. This would have been useful information for the readers - although it would have ruined the propaganda value for the Al-Reuters stringers (aka Arabs) who write for the so-called "news" wire.

Some people like the first comment do know. It is only to do propaganda that they talk. Same with Reuters. They certainly knew the wall was there for security purpose.

The nihilist seculars who pump spin into Reuters releases really have no interest in Christians, Jews or Muslims one way or another save for the friction they can cause between them and capitalize on with their yellow journaistic mewling.

There is every reason to bring to light this kind of dishonest reporting and it is sadly only one example of it. How is it that the fact that the Christans have religious freedom under Israeli rule that they were never granted under Muslim rule is never mentioned, even by the good nun. The on-going harassment of Christans by Muslims continues to cause many to flee, but this is also ignored. Frankly this kind of "reporting" gets a bit sickening.

Wow - eight whole lines of Rob't's simmering opprobrium, as opposed to the usual one or two. It must be Christmas.

From Thursday's Globe and Mail

He was supposed to fly home yesterday to visit his family for the holidays. Instead, a government jet brought the body of Mark Bourque, a veteran crime fighter who died on duty with the United Nations in Haiti, back to Canada last night.

Mr. Bourque, a retired RCMP officer, was not a household name, but he made crucial contributions to law enforcement during his career, and was a tenacious detective who took on a major Mafia cartel.>>>

Does anyone know anyone other than lefties who hang out at leftie blogs?

I mean do any of you go there much at all? I know that if you have an opposing view you are banned immediately and sent packing. No tolerance at all for us.

Plus, you can read everthing they might have to say in any MSM paper or on CTV or of course Pravda.

Yet .. Robert the socialist big mouth asshole is always either here or at Kate's puking his hateful bile.

I think Robert likes freedom and free speech. He just doesn't have a clue how to use it or what to do with it. It's like he's trapped in an idiology that no longer fits him, but would lose too much face to admit that he is tired of same old straight jacket philosophy where discussion amounts to heads bobbing like those little rear window doggies that half wits think are ever so cute..

His ilk are far too boring and dull-witted. one cannot make a decenting or even interesting differing point without the wrath of the PHD's and other university big C graduates coming down hard.

So Robert, like a tumor that should be cut out, you remain in our colons .. an annoyance, but not yet malignant .. but close ... close.
