Prime Minister Harper

A new Ipsos Reid poll, taken immediately after the fall of the Librano government yesterday, puts the Conservatives in a dead heat with the Liberals, each with 31% of the decided vote. Given the Tories' more-concentrated vote (in Ontario, the Prairies and B.C.), this surely means Stephen Harper's team is starting the campaign as the frontrunner to form the next government. Full Ipsos release here.

Don't even say it. It will just jinx us.

Please God may I see the day we get to turf those rat bastard libranos out of office for good!

Once the oposition gets control of the books and has them audited (and gets someone other than the corrupt liberal lickspit RCMP to do the criminal investigation) there won't be a liberal party left to run a campaign for 500 years - they'll all be in jail!

Only one small problem with your supposition; the election is not today, it is almost two months from now. A poll taken on the day the writ is dropped is meaningless. Ask Lyn McLeod about it.

Warwick: the people of Ontario have it within their grasp to punish the Liberals. So why won't they?

Who says they won't?

You mean a few more sleepy Kanuckistanians finally caught on that the Liebrano mafia bastards aren't to be trusted running a Kool-Aid stand, let alone a country? If the Liebrano mafia isn't stealing your money, they're out there trying to blackmail you and even buy your vote with your very own money!! What a hoot!

Other polls exist that have much larger sample sizes than most of the ones I have seen in the media. This one from mid November had over 18,000 participants:

NOTE:fed-liberals nonsense is more than their sponsoship crimes, also their democracy deficit, their ideology driven attempts to change society their way-big government, control over Canadians and dependancy upon their government. Which is why they try to destroy Christianity and traditional family marriage. These two items ones faith and family citizens place higher than the state and of course a socialist Liberal government or state don't want this.Check-{defendmarriagecanada.org}. Marriage of course is a man and woman exclusive union even the Oxford dictionay Current English 3rd edition states:marriage is a union of a man and a woman. Words have meanings and marriage no doubt is a exclusive male and female union-history,Spirituality,tradition and naturalism all confirm this truth. Harper will allow open and free votes for all MP's on the defintion of marriage issue which Martin did not. This is fair-Harper's Conservative method.

I tend to believe the 18,000 number is a mistake. I mean, given that rejection rates are something like 90 percent or something ridiculous, I can't imagine that they would call 200,000 homes.

Samples are RARELY this big.
