When a guy stays too long in power, those things tend to happen.

It also point out to the need of change in he Cnadian constitution and federation.

Ralph doesn't want Stephen's job - he just wants a good enemy in Ottawa to "fight" against. Plays very well in Alberta to be Ralph vs. evil Liberals. Himself Alone (to put it in Irish terms).

In Saturday's Post, Don Martin suggested that the Conservatives use some of their campaign money to send Ralph on a two-month fact-finding mission to some of the world's most remote jurisdictions. I think that's an *excellent* idea, and a good use of resources.
