A lesson from American history before the Civil War.
The less you talk about your issues, they worse they become. When both North and South tried to avoid talking about the expansion of slavery, they just built up the pressure that would eventually force the South to secede.
Alberta's secession is already in motion - culturally it happened 25 years ago today with the start of the NEP - but I wonder what will finally force us to make the fateful decision. My solution: accept it and get it over with.
