Show 'em who's master
In the wake of yet another deadly bear attack, conservation groups in Ontario are calling for a new Spring hunt of the ursine omnivores. Without such a hunt, they say, bears no longer fear humans and consider them to be part of their "wilderness buffet."
This is exactly what best-selling B.C. author Gary Shelton has been saying for years.
Goodbye Disney and hello reality.

I totally agree. And in Canada we can no longer even carry a firearm to protect ourselves when hiking in the bush.
Bring back the spring bear hunt.

I urge people to pick up a book by Gary Shelton. Their just-the-facts documentation of bear attacks make for absolutely chilling reading. My wife, who is from Singapore, would read them wide-eyed well into the night. It's a wonder she still agrees to go camping.

Why the link to the CBC? You'll only encourage it. This: http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/1126107754889_121516954 or anything would be better.
