A Matter Of Timing

The AG report on the "Canadian Firearms Program" audit is scheduled to be released in February - the same month Gomery is due to hand down his election-triggering report. Though Fraser isn't talking, the Winnipeg Sun suspects it will be blistering;

Fraser isn't doing interviews about the audit, which has been underway for months.

The last time her office attempted to look into gun registry spending was 2002 and the results were explosive. In fact, her team was forced to abandon its attempts to follow the spending on the gun registry because of the absence of records.

If the Libranos don't orchestrate their own fall in the coming weeks, (they're working hard at weakening the uber-fundraiser Harper for a reason, people) it's a safe bet that they'll pull out all the stops to dissolve parliament before she gets the chance.

Does anyone seriously believe that a "blistering" Firearms Registry report will make any more of a ripple than the "explosive" Jean Brault testimony did? Prediction: After the report comes out, PM's faux outrage and head's-will-roll speeches will be just the public salve that gets him re-elected.

Kate, who gives a shit. The REAL story is that three or four previously unknown "conservatives" want Harper out. Everybody knows Harper is scary and angry, and that's a bigger story than any scandal the Libs can produce.

Get with the program. Mike Duffy can show you how it's done.

I have resorted to Liberal tactics when talking to my centist friends. I advise that I have heard that the Ultra Secret Liberal agenda is more than twice as bad and as scary as the Conservatives hidden agenda. When they ask any questions I immediately ask them to outline what the Conservative hidden agenda is so that we could compare the two.

No one has yet answered my question, but the light bulb goes on in a few peoples minds.

Given the state of the media in this country Charles Manson running for the Liberals would wipe the floor with Mother Theresa as the head of the CPC.

You misspelled Mother Teresa too.
