So there, take that!

Antonia Zerbisias in the Toronto Star: The pajamahadeens are digging their own graves.

But, just like trigger happy celebrants in the Middle East, who have yet to figure out that what goes up must come down, they can't see that, by firing up at us, they will also kill themselves.

Oh no. It's raining bullets. We're killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. Pretty soon there won't be any news at all. No way I'll be caught dead digging my own grave. Wait, that doesn't make sense. Anyway, that's it; I'm giving up the Internet. Who's with me? C'mon.

But we're not aiming at everybody, just the jerks who deserve to die!

Could you imagine the response by Zerbisias if a president or prime minister put forward that same request that they no longer be questioned or crticized? Because, questioning or critizing a president or prime minister may undermine the credibility of the government.

The Star could've save quite a few column inches on th op/ed page by substituting the phrase:

"Do as I say, not as I do"

Instead of running that piece of crap she wrote.

Why does she think that criticizing her involves aiming up? It's probably sideways, maybe it's down.
Anyway, just checked out a column at the Economist which concluded by saying, roughly paraphrased, that bloggers are challenging the old order and this was a good thing.

Is being insane really a qualification for writing a newspaper column in a major daily these days? I mean Zerbisias, Mallick - I'm not reading anything there that a course of medication and some therapy (paid for by SONG, of course) couldn't take care of...

PEST therapy is now man.....da...... story.
