Hope you're back to your old tricks soon
Jacques Chirac is sending all his love to Yasser Arafat.
"Having learnt of the health problems you are facing, I wish to express my deepest sympathy and warmest wishes for your recovery," Chirac wrote.
Chirac's Get Well Soon card also featured a joke about the hospital food being so bad that the nurses should be executed for being Israeli collaborators.

Once again, in our post-Iraq-invasion world, the mere concept of "French" is used as an insult ...
If Mr. Arafat does in fact die -- and he's old, let's not forget -- what does this mean for the Palestinian succession? The New Guard has held him to be an obstruction, but he has also been a focus for Palestinian unity; without him, they might degenerate into factionalism, with at least some factions becoming even *more* militant, to Israel's sorrow.
