Youth Text 2004

The Dominion Institute and the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association work together so people otherwise too lazy to vote can choose our next government with help from a text message.

Starting Monday, Canadian cellphone users will be able to text message a question or comment to the campaign headquarters of some of the political parties. Called Youth Text 2004, the idea is to reach out to young voters who traditionally have a low turnout rate at election time.
