Here we are again' Crying and protesting against Ontario isolationists and Quebec separatists, urinating all over the so called electoral laws of the land! We, (mostly, the western 'we' ) should be used to this kind of eastern discrimination by now - a la the one-sided "National Energy (Petroleum) Policy debacle that we were forced to endure the last time the moneyed eastern establishment exerted their political 'influence' on us. We could have used a forceful action-figure then, to beat back the Bay Street bullies, but all we had was Lougheed! Like him or not, Steve Harper is the kind of 'morose dictator' we should have had then to pressure the french 'coalition' of Trudeau, Lalonde, Rene Levesque and later Bouchard, into seeing it 'his' way. Given enough time to manage his own kind of coup, Steve might still have done it during this currant overthrow - just at his mentor, Reforms Preston Manning could have commanded.. Meanwhile it's back to the barricades with the rallying cry - "LET 'EM FREEZE IN THE DARK!
