(Video) Ron Paul answers questions about the present financial situation

Can we sustain this level of market intervention?
Is this the end of capitalism?
Shouldn't the government provide a safety net?
What is the role of capital?

Ron Paul, a man of integrity, honesty and freedom. It's too bad that almost none of the Canadian contingent of candidates can measure up to this kind of political stance. Imagine Canada if we had states-men and women like Ron Paul filling our Canadian Parliament and Provincial Legislatures. Life here in one of the freest and best countries to live would be even better.
It's time to start believing in Freedom and acting with Honesty from the mindset of Love thy neighour without prejudice. We can build the best country on earth. The county that all others will want to emulate.
Down with consolidation of power, up with decentralization, power to the people! Down with taxes, up with freedom, power to the people!

"In the absence of the gold standard, there is no way to protect
savings from confiscation through inflation. ... This is the shabby
secret of the welfare statists' tirades against gold. Deficit spending
is simply a scheme for the confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the
way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property
rights. If one grasps this, one has no difficulty in understanding the
statists' antagonism toward the gold standard."
