Political ad watch: Maine congressional candidate and curmudgeon John Frary's campaign ads
Kalim: Ever since you pointed me in professor John Frary's direction, I've been a voracious reader of his website, and incessant watcher of his videos. The man takes no prisoners, and refuses to say anything except exactly what's on his mind. The moment it comes to mind. (And I like his stances on very many policy positions as well, so that helps).
Maybe H.L. Mencken comparisons are a little overblown, but he comes awfully close.
Here are two of his campaign advertisements posted on YouTube. If only every campaign advert was like this:
