Ezra Levant's opening statement

Censorship50leaves_6 Boy, remember when these videos hit the internet? Remember the buzz it caused about freedom of speech and expression?

Those were heady days. I was sure the CHRC would crumble within a matter of days. Days. Ezra humiliated the Commission. He went in, and stunned the bureaucrats, then shamed them. Over and over again.

Continuing our freedom of speech & expression week here at the Western Standard, we're going to continue posting these videos, reminding us of the importance of freedom of expression. This election campaign has been, generally, about nothing. It should have at least one issue. Here's one: Freedom of speech & expression.

The battle for freedom of speech in Canada continues!

In case you haven't done so already, please send a free speech vs. HRC related question to question@electiondebate08.ca. If enough people contact that email, the CHRC issue will be brought up on national TV in the October 2 leaders' debate.
