Your awesome Obama image of the day

01020125095900

From a German newspaper. It looks like they're greeting Obama like a rockstar in Germany.

More newspaper covers here.

(The cover says "Come back to Earth", apparently: I wonder what that means?)

Terrence...Actually cover says "come on down". Cannot read small print at the bottom but presume
to the place where he was holding the speech.

Make no mistake the European Union statists are hoping for leftist crypto-Marxist to become president of the USA.

What better leftist ally or stoke of luck could they possibly hope for in Europe if in North America either Bob Rae or Citoyen Dion made the grade in Canada and if Obama became POTUS.

The "The Red Rocket" - Rock Star indeed

Peterj,

Ah, thanks for the correction on the caption. I was just going by the website's translation. Come on down makes a lot more sense!

GIVE ME A BREAK!

Watching Obama in Berlin was embarrassing--I mean, for him. All cliches. All schlock. All of the time. Does the guy have no shame?

He's too inexperienced to become the POTUS of the U.S.A. And, besides, his talk of "citizens of the world" is too close to the spectre of one-world government, which a guy with his political leanings, not to mention his moonbat allies', might just be taking seriously.

Does he think that if we just make a big enough circle and all hold hands that everything will be alright? Does he think that if we think nice, talk nice, and be nice to the bullies--aka terrorists--they'll just go away and leave us alone?

That's what I'm worried about...that this is what he's thinking...I don't think he gets it...

He is certainly raising expectations in every country he visits. He can certainly talk the talk and like all poltical mouthpieces is simply telling the gullible what they want to hear. The problem is that trying to be super nice to everyone may embolden a lot of fence sitters and put him in the Carter light weight division. Good entertainment and still a long way until November.

The TAZ is a "far to the left" newspaper (which I guess in the terms here would mean they are the German version of Prawda).

They have pissed at pretty much every politicians leg at one point or the other and their coverage of Obama wasn't all that pretty. The recently opened new embassy by the US was given some not so charming comparisions.

Point is: The cover wasn't mean to "celebrate" Obama in any way really.

Oh, and I see nothing has changed in two weeks not being here, the same BS from the same people.

Keep going, you guys sure don't disappont.

Snowy

"Oh, and I see nothing has changed in two weeks not being here, the same BS from the same people."

Wrong again. I was waiting for you to add your BS before offering my own.

You complete me.

You complete me.

I knew you were missing pieces, that was pretty clear, but I doubt I am the one who can put humpty dumpty back together again.

Ask Adam, he seems to have a few spare parts left.

Snowy,

To paraphrase.

"You like me. You really, really like me."

He is surely arousing outlooks in every country he visits. He can certainly talk the talk and like all poltical embouchures is simply telling the gullible what they want to hear.
