Yes we can!
There are those in the Canadian and American right who are too small-minded to understand the immense promise for change and hope that Barack Obama embodies or too "reality-based" to engage in wishful 'hope'-ful thinking whereby they imagine that Obama will bring about every change in government and society they desire.
May I remind them of the following favourable changes that will come about when Obama wins:
* fortune cookies will really end with "in bed."
* SkyNet will be destroyed at last.
* we will all shower in beer and soap will be replaced by bacon.
* we'll all get new bicycles.

This reminds me of two popular cultural references:
1) The Family Guy episode "Meet the Quagmires" where Peter revises his life. In the process, he loses Lois to Quagmire, but America improves for the better. President Gore found and killed Osama Bin Laden, Dick Cheney, chairman of Halliburton, has just shot dead Antonin Scalia, Karl Rove, and Tucker Carlson, and America has universal health care. Yet he insists on being with Lois.
2) The Half Hour News Hour from Fox News had a couple of clips of President Rush Limbaugh and Vice-President Ann Coulter. Funny!
